The Lyrics

Warning: some overlapping vocals in this parody. Also warning: the title of this parody doesn't actually appear. It was going to, but it turned out that "fellow" was pronounced "fellah". The title hasn't change to reflect this revelation because I liked the title too much to change. Anyway, parody about how yelling orders may not work as well as you might think. Yeah.
Ooh-hoo-hoo-ho!
Don't ye-ye-yell, don't ye-ye-yell
Not so loud, please, buddy (ooh-hoo-hoo-ho!)
Don't ye-ye-yell, don't ye-ye-yell

Don't care if you boss me around, dude
All these orders that you say are fine
(With them I am just fine)
A glass of freshly-squeezed grape juice? Peachy!
Steak and chips, too? Cyborg upgrades (Woo!) for your eyes?
(Laser sight!)
I'm down with all that, dude
But man, I've got a tip for you
And that tip is that you don't need to yell it
Cause you're popping my eardrums, dude
Woah!
Ooh-hoo-hoo-ho!
Don't ye-ye-yell, don't ye-ye-yell
Woah-woah-woah-ooh-woah!

[Instrumental]

Please stop shouting, dude
(Gotta tell you, shouting ain't the way)
You're hurting my brain
(Panadol ain't workin' well today)
Thi-hiiiiink of your throat, dude
(May be awesome to sound like Tom Waits)
Yelling hurts it, mate
(Til you stop, your commands I'll belay)

Your clarity is droppin'
Can't tell if you want muffins
Or a pole up your date
(My confusion's high)
Won't you let me help you help me
Please speak more clearly, buddy, delay your grim fate
(Likely future, I can't lie)
Oh, I can tell that soon
Your voice will crap out like a deuce
I'm beggin' you, 'cause if you don't stop yellin'
A hoarse whisper's all you'll have, dude

Woah (ooh-hoo-hoo-ho!) please no more of this:
Ye-ye-yell, ye-ye-yell
Woah (ooh-hoo-hoo-ho!) should be stoppin' this:
Ye-ye-yell, ye-ye-yell
Uh-huh-huh (ooh-hoo-hoo-hoo!) cut out all of this, please:
Ye-ye-yell, ye-ye-yell
Woah!

Reminds me of that Youtube video that's a parody of the interrogation scene in The Dark Knight and the Joker makes fun of Batman's voice because he keeps shouting in that gruff voice and you can't understand a word he's saying. I liked this and some songs are weird and don't use their title anywhere in the song (I can't think of any at the moment but I'm sure there are a few examples out there and you did a fine job of working that out).

This was kinda clever, but in the long run, doesn't make much sense to me, in spite of Matthias' reference to The Dark Knight. What the singer should be asking is for a bit more eununciation, not necessarily less volume, get what I am saying. The pacing in the verses and backing vocals were a challenge, which you overcame quite well. So it's like, higher points for Technical Skill here than Overall Presentation.

Reading this parody hurts my ears.

Pretty solid work. I've never heard the OS before (Marvin Gaye isn't really topping my MP3 playlists), but this was an entertaining read. Nice job!

(artistry) Actually a really tricky song to pace and you did a solid job. The title switch was a little choppy, but I really enjoyed the rest of the parody. Good work.
