The Lyrics

[ to the tune of millions of droppings, sung to The Colonel Bogey March ( aka Hitler Has Only Got One Ball ) whistled in the movie The Bridge on the River Kwai ]
[spoken]
Good citizens of Granola Hills, unite!
There is an insidious curse that plagues our beautiful community,
threatens our environment, intimidates the sanity
& well-being of even the strongest & bravest of our citizenry.
Seldom spoken of in public, overlooked & belittled by the authorities,
it is high time this threat is brought out into the candid scrutiny of daylight!!
The time for this dire situation to be openly & honestly addressed
& effectively handled is NOW!!!

BUNNIES ARE POOPING in my yard.
Not so funny, their turds are round and hard.
By the millions or even trillions,
they leave their feces as pieces of art.

BUNNIES ARE POOPING all night long.
I've hired coyotes to help them move along.
Pellets, powders I've spread for hours-,
but still their plumbing is humming this song:

[ thousands of kazoos, tubas, humming or pharghting to brass instrumental break ]

BUNNIES ARE POOPING ev'rywhere.
All my neighbors don't seem to mind or care.
After midnight, when there's no moonlight,
don't think they’d mind that they'd find that I've shared.

BUNNIES ARE POOPING in my grass,
in my garden, driveway and walking paths.
All my neighbors do me no favors
by loving bunnies: they can just kiss my ass.

Loved the movie. No idea what Col. Bogey March & Hitler has only Got 1 Ball were until reading this & Googling. Sounds like you don't like bunnies too much. Is pharghting the appropriate archaic spelling?

Is this a real-life experience? I know of ornery pet-store bunnies, staying on the loose indoors all day who deposit in room corners, but are easily cleaned up after with a vacuum. I would think that even flocks of bunnies on West coast campuses are not obnoxious to neighbors, and leave a bit of compost on the grass. Compared to raccoon-poop or dog-doo: inoffensive!. Dr GC ( Coniglio is Italian for rabbit).
