True story: Not enough song so...Father's Day, we were having a picnic at the top of a steep hill. I thought I could make it, but didn't. I rolled down the hill into a street below, hence the nickname "The Tire". I was bleeding all over kingdom come and the ambulance came. Turns out I had a deep cut on my head, abrasions, bruises, and worst to me...a left arm fractured in two places. I think I'm still in shock...lol

Racing down hill, "Make way"!
Dumb fling called to me.
The street is gnawing me, fear.
And I got to know just why.
Some EM voices I hear,
In pain, they move me, aaaiiiiiii-iiiiiii....(sirens carry screams off)

"I'm looking at myself", a torn and bloody kind.
I'm so maligned this day, I should have stayed behind.
Not gently swaying in the truck that took me to doc.
They took one look at me and then cut my shirt right off.
Say hey, need meds soon!
If not, I will swoon!

Now this is what I call "rocks and rolls". And this is not in the least bit "tired". The only thing funnier than imaging you as a tire rolling down a Tennessee hillside is if there were a cat inside of that tire. Another true story that I may or may not write about. HA HA - Happy New Year Pat. This was really, really good. Quite enjoyable and refreshing.

This is one of the more challenging Moody Blues songs if you ask me. I haven't read your Moody Blues contest entry, but if it's anything like this--it's a contender. . .clearly you have extensive knowledge of the bands rhyme scheme, it's as creative as the "Puttin' On the Ritz" parody that got my 5 points in last years ABC round I shared with you.
