Parody Song Title:

"On The Thread Where (Arwen) Lives"

Parody Written by:

Stuart McArthur

The Lyrics

to my flirty fiend (er friend) • happy birthday darling

I have surfed the net
wide and well before
but I've never come across a feisty elf before
all at once am I
wiste-rian eyed
knowing I'm on the thread where she lives

there are Tech Fred tales
that enrapture me
all that falling down and staining quite encapture me
can I flirt and fight
on oth-er websites?
no, just here, on the thread where she lives

her Duncan!
with his Scottish proboscis!
at Vin D.
she turns into Queen Leer
Her bird and -
MS-paint creations!
Meant for ass-kicking, they re- and re-appear

Other Peanuts types • don't do much for me
coz it's obvious my kicks come from Lucy V.P.
her E.S.S. gear
helps instil f--fear
taking names on the thread where she lives

(string instrumental)

Other princessys • they don't int'rest me
coz it's obvious there's nowhere else like this for me
that Wyoming gal
(lately Rivendell)
knows that I - love the thread - where she lives

Once again, the submission rules state: "No parodies about other parody authors." Parodies are supposed to be funny. Birthday or not, send this stuff via e-mail or post it on your message board. I wasted my time reading this.

I'll happily take you seriously, Craig, if you can give me a logical (unemotional, non-vindictive) reason for giving me a 2 for pacing - I'll wait 48 hours :-)
Arwen - January 31, 2005 - Report this comment
LOL, Stuart...the deadline is a nice touch.

Okay, Craig * rolling sleeves up, Reservoir Dogs style*
your 48+ hours is up (and I can only be bothered doing this coz it's so easy)

Here I have captured a ones-guy!
Let's inspect him/her

1. Won't use his/her real name (=coward)

2. tries, ridiculously, to score a punch by voting 1s and 2s (it feels a bit like being slapped with a damp lettuce)

3. can't defend or explain his emotional tantrum when given the opportuntiy(48 hours) because there IS no logic to it, just fury and sneakiness

4. bitter at the popularity or skill of others, and disguises this venom by claiming the pedantic, technicality high ground (in this case ill-informed)

5. too immersed in own world to understand the meaning of "giving a birthday present"

and that's BEFORE I start on my main point.......

Why bother searching out these offensive songs?
(3 similar comments on 3 like-minded parodies consecutively - for proof, check out the timing on "Latest Comments")

Craig, I'm offended by pedophiles, but if I searched out 3 pedophile sites, looking to be offended, I'm the one with the problem, mate

so, my point:
Craig, You're the one with problem, mate :-)

Craig, The rule does state "No parodies about other parody authors." But the explanation is right below it: "No attack parodies please." If Chucky wants to change the reason to be" "It's wasting folks time to read it if it's a tribute parody." then I think we'd have an issue. It's clear that the rule is to prohibit author bashing only.
