Parody Song Title:

"Politician Man"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Does President Obama wish that the last question at his most recent press conference had been a little Sweet-er?
Agenda was mine
‘Til the time
That I sidetracked,
Stupidly,
Foolish me.

I wanted health care
To be where
I would focus;
But the press
Made me digress.

Don’t know why I tried
To provide a quick answer
To side issues
Besides tax hikes and cancer.
I am what I am:
A politician man,
Politician man.

I know it’s been done
Havin’ one
Agenda topic,
No other voice,
Just my choice.

But I now resolve
I will solve
The world’s problems;
Conquer fear
With one beer.

Don’t know that I will,
But until I can placate
Voters who’ll stay
Calm and not act like Skip Gates,
I’ll be what I am:
A politician man,
Politician man.

JJ - Love this - esp. the beer bottle diplomacy - and if I drank, I'd drink to that. I hit on Gates and company with the beer in a parody last week. Well done and as Fiddlegirl says you "Got him pegged". Keep 'em on the ropes and never give a sucker an even break.

Sir Jenkins, and the latest caper of ~Cash for Clunkers~ . . . spend 10 to 15k and get back 3k to 4k . . . Why put more people in Debt , for cars that they can't afford to begin with? This is just a smaller verson of the " Real Estate Greed, turned Foreclosure Scene" ! ! Why should "poor folks" be responsible for//and subsidize the failures of these ~~3 Giants"~~ ? ? Is it not better for the ~USA~ to get 'in the Black" before it "Goes Green" ? ? ?

Ms. NorCal - M'Lady - Thou hast the makings of great sense inst thine commentary. Very well put indeed. Makes perfect sense to me - we go from red to black and THEN to green 'cause you can't have green with red unless it's Christmas. And if you have black then you'd have enough "green" to go truely GREEN.

Driver asking directions: Can you give me directions on how I can get to green from right here in red?
Old codger on street: Ya cain't git there from here.

What's ironic is that early on, O was praised (hosannahed?) for replying to a press conference Q with: "I'll have to get back to you on that. I'd like to take a few days to gather all the facts and think about it." ... or words to that effect. What happened to that?

TT - I think it is showing one of the symptoms of something called "defect of character" syndrome. How do I know? I saw his lips move. =;-)
