Song Parodies -> "Red Rocket All Day"

Original Song Title:

"The Dock Of The Bay"

Original Performer:

Otis Redding

Parody Song Title:

"Red Rocket All Day"

Parody Written by:

South Park Al

The Lyrics

he's sittin' in the morning sun
he'll be barking when he sees me come
wond'ring just where i've been
as i roll him on his back again

we're gonna sit and "red rocket" all day
till he gets tired and rolls away
sit and play red rocket all day
what a time !

i left my home in south park
headed for the city pound
i've got no money to buy one
but can i rent a horny hound?

we're gonna sit and "red rocket" all day
till he gets tired and rolls away
sit and play red rocket all day
what a time !

looks like this one's in my range
even though , he's got a touch of mange
i do what mom tells me not to do
guess she thinks that its rather strange

sitting there, clutching his bone
suddenly, he lets out a moan
now he won't leave me alone
i think he wants to follow me home

so we can sit and "red rocket" all day
till he gets tired and rolls away
sit and play red rocket all day
what a time !

(dog whistles)

I liked the parody, it paced well and had good lines in it. I don't watch a lot of South Park and your reference to that show or place in your song suggests to me that this is somehow connected to it, but I am at a loss to understand what "Red Rocket" is referring to. None the less I voted you 5s for this parody.

Guy, I don't watch South Park, either, but I THINK I know what South Park Al is referring to here. I'm gonna give him 5's 'cause it's well written and I don't offend easily, And anyway, it sounds like the dog had a good time.

I finally figured out what red rocket means, having owned male dogs in the past. Good job. 5-5-5

A bit of background for those who did not see that episode. Cartman, or Kyle, I can't remember which was taught by some other kids how to milk a male dog. The other guys did not believe him and so Cartman showed them how to play "red rocket" the show shows the boys rolling the dog on his back and the hand is not shown, all while hysterically and repeatedly saying "red rocket" until they get the desired effect. Good parody
