Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

When a man drives a woman
Can't keep his mind on traffic lanes
He'd trade the world
For a girlfriend that's mute
If there's a wreck, he can't see it
She can't shut her yap
'Bout gossip from her best friend
Or a purse that's cute

When a man drives a woman
On his very last nerve
Trying to look on to what’s ahead
He doesn’t want her advice
And now is not the time
To talk about new drapes
Or queen size bed

When a man drives a woman
Gotta give everything you’ve got
Trying to focus
On that yellow line
Baby please just let me drive

When a man drives a woman
She won’t close her hole
She can bring him such tragedy
If there is a car in his blind spot
He's the last one to know
Tired eyes can never see

When a man drives a woman
Drown her out with a song
Next time travel with your good friend Earl
Yes when a man drives a woman
I now exactly how he feels
'Cause I drove a long road trip
With my girlfriend
When a man drives a woman

(Ages) How about when she says "Turn THERE"--without adding "Left" or "Right"!!

I feel your pain. It rings true for all males.

(AGES) Classic. I've yet to endure this nightmare (I can't drive yet!), but it will come...one day...

Maybe just a tad chauvinistic, though I've been guilty of that myself ;) But it is true to life. What's even worse is having more than one woman in the car because that multiplies the yakking by a factor of 20.

(Ages). . .I hope you never sing this to a girlfriend Wolv. . .it's an argument waiting to happen. . .I think it's funny all and all. . .I do, but "She won’t close her hole" might not be the most well-recepted lyric choice for female readers ;) I'm going to treat this as one particular person, not women in hole though so that said, good job as you have since you've been here.

(Ages) First of all...PIG!!! *bashes you upside head with purse* Heh, just kidding. But remember, it goes both ways...I hear guys prattling all the time about sports and cars and whatnot!

Thanks everyone.

Mike - yeah I know it sounds chauvinistic. I don't REALLY think like this most days. But I did after one particular trip, which I drew for inspiration.

BAD - I know singing that particular lyric, will certainly cause the opposite to happen.

Cat...OW. I deserved it, but it's all meant in fun. :-)
