Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

you wander around, when your gut growls aloud
and you hope to espy some fast food store
you think, bread and meat and some chips would be neat
but a weiner is not what you care for

i've told you all a million times before
take off and go, this stuff you must ignore

don't eat at the subway, darling
gross sandwiches, poorly made
don't eat at the subway, darling
the odor's strong
forgo this suicide
the taste is wrong
now, go eat arby's instead

some folks think they're smart, say its good for the heart
jared blurts that his waist is deflated
you don't realize, that its all exercise
and the health factor's so over rated

good food is something, that we need to grow
so why pretend its a good place to go

don't eat at the subway, darling
gross sandwiches, poorly made
don't eat at the subway, darling
the odor's strong
forgo this suicide
the taste is wrong
now, go eat arby's instead

Food for thought.

5's ... gee ... choosing between Subway and Arby's is like choosing between The MATRIX's blue-capsule and red-capsule ... except in this case, both capsules make you lose your lunch.

I think, if given those two choices, I'd rather go to Taco Bell.

Well done, I was thinking this would be at a subway stop...where in DC, you can get arrested for eating, say, McDonalds french fries.

We don't have Arby's in the UK (is that a good thing?) but the ubiquitous Subway is well overdue for a pasting...good job Al 555

Good parody, but I don't agree with your point of view. Subway makes the best sandwitches. Why don't you write about Bugger King? That is for junk food junkies.
John Jenkins - January 20, 2005 - Report this comment
Very good parody with a lot of clever substitutions for the original words, but I agree with 2Eagle on the meat of the parody.
