The Lyrics

What's going on? Obama's Congressional supporters and members of his administration are being confronted by angry citizens in Town Hall meetings across America. Let's keep this kind of behavior where it belongs - in the streets against conservatives! ;D

When you're a Dem and face an angry mass meeting
Then you're surely there - Town Hall
When there are shouts instead of warm fuzzy greetings
It can curl your hair - Town Hall
Obama's media pronounce the outrage as synthetic
Yet this hostile roar is genuine and quite splenetic
Folks are outraged
The deficit, cap and trade, and now with Obama Care
All this madness has made - our dull

Town Hall - sound like a wrestling crowd
Town Hall - it's really mean and loud
Town Hall - Obama's stooges are cowed
(Town Hall! Town Hall!)

Throughout the land, the average folks are demanding
"Put an end to this!" - Town Hall
They're getting ticked at Reid and Nancy's commanding,
They're not socialists - Town Hall
They voted for Obama in the hope things would be changing
What on earth has triggered this unseemly mass deranging?
High-handedness!
The deficit, cap and trade, and now with Obama Care
All this madness has made - our dull

Town Hall - the press says it's a fake
Town Hall - but now the voters quake
Town Hall - they won't make that mistake twice!
(Town Hall! Town Hall!)

(Instrumental break)

And yet Obama's lock-step-marching pawns aren't even sweating
On the ACORN crooked votes they once again are betting
To keep them in
But now folks turn out in globs, they say "Don't take our health care,
All we're wanting are jobs" - here at

Town Hall - Come join the Tea Party!
Town Hall - passion real and hearty
Town Hall - Obama's no smarty now!

(Town Hall! Town Hall! Repeat and fade)

;D

This parody has the endorsement and unanimous backing of the Great Republic of Texas. And darn it, if they are going to label me for serving in the military and living in Texas as some right wing extremist then I guess that is what I must be, because the left is never "right" and as such are never wrong, just ask them.

I found this rather humorous:

I was not able to capture the caption in the thumbnail but here is what Lincoln is saying to the others:

So I said to him, “Barack, I know Abe Lincoln, and you ain’t Abe Lincoln.”

You still rock OMR!

Some well thought out points in here Ribber. It seems that the Dems are claiming the Repubs are purposely destroying meetings and getting in the way of what the people want, yet didn't Repubs claim that Dems were doing that in the "W" years and that to speak out was unpatriotic. It seems we have one party (the silence the people party); maybe we need an actual alternative party. Nice parody writing too.
