The Lyrics

I've been thinking seriously about branching out into childrens songs. This is my first attempt...whaddya think?
Clip-clop-clip-cloppy doo wah
Ooh neigh-neigh-neigh-yeah
Go To-oh-oh-ny wah
Tony the Pony....

Tony the Pony (Clip-clop-clip-cloppy doo wah)
Liked to take small kids for rides (Ooh neigh-neigh-neigh-yeah)
Tony the Pony (Clip-clop-clip-cloppy doo wah)
Worked down by the seaside (Trot-trot-trot-whinny doo wah)

Tony was frisky
Tony was smart
But one day, Tony's
World fell apart...

Poor Tony the Pony
No stud
A dud
Tony the Pony

Chub-chub-chub-chubby doo wah
Old neigh-neigh-neigh yeah
Slow-oh-oh-oh wah
Tony the Pony

Tony the Pony
Knew he ate far too much hay
Tony the Pony
Could no longer pay his way

Here comes the endgame
Oh, what a waste
When Tone became
Wallpaper paste
A sticky fate...doff your caps to the late
Tony the Pony

Glug-glug-glug-slurpy doo wah...

AFW: It's sad...the mare's name was Joanie...

Alvin: If you've got kids, sing 'em to sleep with this...;-)

Paul: And a visit to Weight Watchers..;-)

Rick: From you, my man, that's the highest compliment! :-)

What do you mean 1st attempt Kristof? Wasn't "You F'n O's" a childrens song?=) DKTOS, so I can't vote this but there is so much $$$ to be made in this area.

Kristof: You've been to the website for this horse, what a shame. It felt to good read about his pain. As for the mare's name being Joanie, maybe it would've been better if Tony's name was Chachi. All in all, this one was very thoroughly bred. Paul: Stereotypically, horses don't need it. There is, after all, the phrase "hung like a horse." Not to be confused with a scene in "Blazing Saddles," however. Ant: You don't know this Orbison classic? Good grief, do I have to give you another oldies lecture?

I've forwarded this to The Wiggles, Kristof - they could all wear sunglasses and really do this justice - hilarious with the "Clip-clop-clip-cloppy doo wah"s - made me LOL - 555
