Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I'm sittin' at an Intel station
Gotta click it for my inspiration

mm-mm-mmm,
mm-mm-mm-mmm

Sonic urine shunned by man
Cries rudely to be clawed by hand
And every chop is neatly planned
By this poet who's a one-man band

Cloned word sounds!

"A fish-eye fuzz"

Cloned word sounds!

Clones --
Wear my thoughtless scraping!

Clones --
Wear my music-splaying!

Clones --
Where my smug mind's shaping smile-ently more glee!

Every phrase relentlessly
I rearrange in parody

mm-mm-mmm,
mm-mm-mm-mmm

And each sound brooks the blame from me
In groovy endless hacktory

And every strange replaced line's sleaze
Reminds me that my song should be --

Cloned word sounds!

"My dish I buzz"

Cloned word sounds!

Clones --
Wear my thoughtless scraping!

Clones --
Wear my music-splaying!

Clones --
Where my smug mind's shaping smile-ently more glee!

Tonight I'll sting guys' songs again
I'll flay and maim, and beat them

mm-mm-mmm,
mm-mm-mm-mmm

In all my word-crumbs' slack you'll see
Parades of meaty Socrates!

Like Humptiness in Dumptity,
I reap song-dumpster's dumb debris --

Cloned word sounds!

My sick mind loves --

Cloned word sounds!

Clones --
Wear my thoughtless scraping!

Clones --
Wear my music-splaying!

Clones --
Where my smug mind's shaping smile-ently more glee!

Violence-free gore spree!

Science-leaf or me!

Very good stuff, JD, particularly the Socrates and Dumptity couplets. But why isn't the title "Cloned Word Sounds"?
Johnny D - April 01, 2007 - Report this comment
Thanks, JJ. I guess one could say that even though the song parodies we all write are often comprised of copied or imitated or "cloned" rhymes, the finished products we create are our own original sonic sculptures of word-sounds -- they stand on their own as more than mere clones.

Homophone sounds of hymen and carbuncle. Very good, JD.

Good answer, JD. Perhaps "Cloned Word Sounds" fits better with the title of the OS, but we all do like to think of our parodies as original creations, not clones.

Nice, JD...and I wouldn't have seen it if the order of "Latest Comments" hadn't been changed from "older on top, new ones on the bottom" over to "new on top; old on bottom". And, geez...look...you posted in on my birthday! I'm touched...lol...Oh, yeah...agree with alvin...5's ~ ~ ~
