The Lyrics

Air America, scandal-ridden, starved for listeners, and deeply in debt, is set to implode. Although technically Michelle Malkin and her fellow bloggers have every right to gloat over its demise as much as the mainstream media (which has carefully avoided reporting this story) gloated over Rush Limbaugh's addiction to painkillers, I think most of them are just going to have one good horse laugh at Franken's expense before they continue on to other stories. In view of Air America's perpetually wretched ratings, after all, watching it implode will probably be about as entertaining as watching a neighborhood bully's lemonade stand collapse.
Better take cover:
Can't hide your misfortunes forever.
If I were you, I'd start packing my bags.
So that when at last the story breaks
Of Mister Franken's lies,
There's no one home at Air America.

Some people said from the start the idea was stupid;
Turns out it's a Drobny scheme anyhow.
It's no surprise that your ratings are sagging now;
No one's home at Air America.

Your shows are a bust;
In your heads, empty spaces.
It's not just 'cause of the scandal your station will die:
Right now you're all in the red by some millions of dollars!

When you are out of cash,
Franken, you'll have to find real work.
Who would trust you to be a janitor?
You ran up debts to Gloria.
Now they're yours to redeem
As the doors close over your empty dream.

Some thieving rats have fled;
Soon, the rest will be leaving.
Last one out, make sure that you have locked the door!
Sheldon Drobny has already flown by night.
There's no one home at Air America!
No one's home at Air America!
No one's home at Air America!

Offender, I haven't been reading many parodies lately; it does make one's head explode from time to time. But you're always interesting to read.
