Hello Santa, my old friend
I see it's Christmas time again
And all the children in their beds, sleeping
With visions of sugar plumbs, creeping
And the visions of the gifts you'll bring again
They still remain
And of the sleigh of Santa

Some restless kids wait up alone
Look for you from in their home
And by the low light of a desk lamp
And over by the window they will camp
And their eyes will search for the flash of Rudolph's red light
To split the night
And guide the sleigh of Santa

Behind that glowing light of yore
Eight tiny reindeer, maybe more
Reindeer flying through the sky, streaking
Reindeer jingling all their bells, listen
Reindeer flying long, to stop, they would not dare
Because they care
To pull the sleigh of Santa

Jerks say, fools, you do not know
Santa Claus is just suppose
There's no such thing as Dancer or Vixen
No such thing as Prancer or Blitzen
No such thing as elves, and Rudolph is a lie
He can not fly
And there's no sleigh, or Santa

But the children, they all say
Santa will be here Christmas day
Yes, he will be here by the morning
To grant the wishes our hearts were forming
And our wish is for gifts and for presents, but not the ones from shopping malls
No, not at all
They're in the sleigh of Santa
