Did you ever draw a picture of your super hero? That would have taken a lot of brown crayons. There is a big comic convention in KC this weekend. Show up in that costume and you'll have the Sprint Center all to yourself.

True story: Our dad woke us boys up one night like it was an emergency. I thought fire for sure, but he took us into the bathroom to see a huge log of crap 3" in diameter by about 6-7" long that wouldn't flush! He was so impressed by it that he got the camera and took a pic of it! Well, mom got upset and he had to use a coat hanger to break it up. That gave us the idea for the Bulk monster. Dad later was hospitalized for leukemia and died within months. We went back to PA. to have the body buried. Was bored to death in Middletown, so we went to 7-11 to get the Marvel Superheroes Slurpee collectors cups. That's when we wrote the parodies. We never got around to Thor, Captain America, or Submariner. Using '70s terminology, I would still be hard pressed to come up with silly names for them. It was 1975. Maybe Bore, Captain Hysteria, and Smog Air Whiner! I'll have to consult my brother!
