"Implants and Puffed-up Lips"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

A little ditty about plastic surgery. Heard the OS on the radio, and it just came to me. If you are under the age of 30, you probably DKTOS. Try it here
Breast lifts, forehead lifts, get yourself flayed
Lipo your ass and leave the same day
Joan Rivers, Spice Girls, Hollywood parade
Implants and puffed-up lips, the stuff of L.A.

Bleached blondes with four-inch heels
Driving to their next chemical peels

Implants and puffed-up lips, nothing’s taboo
Fake tans, fake cans, fake eyelashes too
Improve yourself, improve yourself
Yeah, yeah
Re-make yourself, re-make yourself
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah

Sweet Sixteen gift for my daughter Jill?
Sorry, we won’t do that, but they will in Brazil
Botox and tummy tucks, your dreams fulfilled
It just costs a couple of thousands of bills

Gemstones on your front tooth
5-foot-1 chicks with 40 inch boobs

{-- Play That Cowbell!! --}

Mento-, Blepharo-, Rhino-plasty
Are these the ultimate tricks of beauty?
When I am watching some “Best of” on E!
Implants and puffed-up lips are all that I see

Heard ‘bout the latest fad?
Dermabrasions with old Brillo™ pads

Implants, puffed-up lips, implants, puffed-up lips

Silicon
Collagen
Silicon
Collagen
Silicon
Collagen
Mento = chin, Blepharo = eyelid, Rhino = nose. And Lipo is short for Liposuction.

I remember the OS very well, and love this parody. I do think, tho', that Loni Anderson--and if you;re old enough to know the OS, you're old enough to remember that fishface--deserved a mention. :-)

You're link doesn't work, but seeing as how I'm an ancient 32 years old, I do know the original. Very well done, McKludge - I always wanted to parody this song, but never got a decent idea for it. Great idea and written with surgical precision. 5s

i like the enhancements on the OS...nice job

Best parody of this song I've seen. And I should know--I'd done most of 'em.

hurray for Silicon!! You forgot Raquel Welch in "101 Rifles" . . . worked wonders for Jim Brown!
Invisible Boy - March 17, 2008 - Report this comment
Great idea and title sub. Because I remember this OS does it mean I probably need a little work done ?
McKludge - March 17, 2008 - Report this comment
I thought I typed the link correctly. Anyway, find the OS here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhYLz63csS0

Don't ever try a face lift at home using the car's jack - take it from me. Ouch. Not only does it not work - it jacks with your equilibrium. And yes I rememeber this song quite well and I believe that Michael Pacholek has done a parody or two on it even though it was a bit before his time. Well done.

Loved your refreshingly frank "5-foot-1 chicks with 40-inch boobs." You've given this song a nice face-lift. 545

Oh, shoot!

I forgot to ask...

How did you get that extra small "TM"...

...The one after Brillo?

Stan and unKnownVo - There are too many instances of bad celebrity plastic surgery to note them all here. But that is good fodder for another parody.

Ant - The Incense/Implants idea just popped into my head while driving.

John - I haven't read all the others, I only checked to make sure no one else had done this idea. That's why I haven't posted in couple of months. Every idea I get, it's already been done and done well.

IB - Well, if you remember the song because you saw them play it live, then maybe...

Jonathan - I typed up the parody in MS Word, and inserted the symbol in Word. I then pasted it into the web form, and it came out right. Supposedly you can do it via straight html. Check out http://tlt.psu.edu/suggestions/international/web/codehtml.html and search for "Trademark"

Oh yeah, that should be silicone, not silicon. Don't think people are implanting semiconductors in themselves (yet).

Sorry, Sir, I guess I have been on Monkey Island a little too long . . .

LittleSillyCakes - I meant *I* made the mistake in my parody, not you in your comment.

I also know the original song, and I'm 32. You did a great job parodying it... it follows the original quite well. You summed up everything nicely, and I just implanted another 5-5-5 vote into the ballot box.

I won't say my age, but I do know this song fairly well, and I think it's a good read. And the message is well said; you get a perfect score from this end too.

I'm "made up" for you. great parody. You get a "Body Perfect" 555

Most songs from the 60s need to be puffed-up, don't they? :-)

See above. I also liked "Sweet Sixteen gift for my daughter Jill?/Sorry, we won’t do that, but they will in Brazil" because it's pretty warped, and it leaves some room for interpretation (wax? sex change? =))

I loved this one McKludge easilly one of my favorites of yours. This was great. I loved the line, "5-foot-1 chicks with 40 inch boobs", as well as the Sweet Sixteen line. All in all GREAT parody! But there was one thing it needed... More cowbell!

(SOTM) The name of the OS rings a bell...wasn't it on The Simpsons once? Loved the title sub. Nice work, man.
Jack Wilson - April 29, 2008 - Report this comment
Yup, and its a great one and very psychedelic late 60s sounding song, and it was from then, gets in your heads too.

SOTM- Yea, this was in the Simpsons. Chief Wiggum played it in his car as chase music. Anyways, very good take on this classic, McKludge.

Great lyrics, but it paced a bit off for me, I had a slight problem at parts. It seems everyone now this day is 'fake' to an extent. . .

Great parody about the media induced quest for the perfect look - are there any natural looking women left in Hollywood? Or men for that matter. What makes me laugh is that they have a bit done & they look great but then it's not enough so they have a bit more & end up looking like a freak. Reminded me of a British actress named Leslie Ash who had a lip job that went wrong. Pre-op wow she was hot/post-op wow she was not. Our media dubbed her Trout Pout.

Thanks Andy. Yeah, take a look at Demi Moore and Reese Witherspoon now and 10 years ago. Yeeesh!
