Another from my RAF days when I was stationed at RAF Henlow.
HENLOW, WE LOVE YOU
Henlow, we love you,
Honest we do.
And though there isn’t much to see,
There’s still a lot to do.
There’s nowhere quite like Henlow,
And that you can’t deny.
But if you’ve any sense at all
You’ll just keep driving by.
On Mondays I play bingo,
I listen to the calls.
I’ve never won a penny yet,
It’s just a load of …housey housey.
Henlow, we love you,

And though there isn’t much to see,
There’s still a lot to do.
On Wednesdays I go drinking,
I like to have a jar.
The barmaid’s got a lovely pair –
Of pint pots on the bar!
On Fridays I go acting,
We sing and dance as well.
I don’t like our producer and
I wish he’d go to...act in Hitchin!
