The Lyrics

Sometimes it’s hard to boost a D’oh! man
Givin’ your support to a dumb plan
From a bad mind
Sad, he’s not a good mind
Sayin’ things that’s straight from blunderland
Though he’s a dumb twit, a fool and nitwit
You’ll forgive his strolls through dunderland
You grow to love him
And be proud of him
You’ll give your all to nutso man

Stand by your Rand
Though he’s an alarming dude
His ideas scarily skewed
For civil rights he won’t speak

Stand by your Rand
And tell the world you love him
Though he’s from brain slumberland
Rand’s stand’s like Klan’s

Stand by your Rand
Don’t tell the world he’s nutwing
Like his also scary old man
Rand, Dad, mad clan

At first I thought you might be promoting the Russian born Objectivist philosopher. Just read that Atlas Shrugged goes into production next month with no cast. That ought to be interesting.

Dear Ann Randers:

I need your advice about a person who posted hateful song lyrics but pretended to be a famous author, long deceased, who imagined an autocratic government such as what is now developing in the USA. Clearly, this person cheers at every word on MSNBC and CNN but holds PBS in suspicion. I know that comments will not change his/her mind, as it is too far left. Perhaps this site needs a political balance to Malcolm Higgins, but I'd prefer someone with more subtlety, wit and nuance rather than an armory of insults.

What Barry said! (lol) I'm a little more long-winded and articulate than that. Be prepared...Rand Paul won the nomination precisely because he was NOT a seasoned politician. ;D

Very kind of you to call me a "philosopher" and an "author," but a careful reading of my tedious drivel reveals that I am neither. But thanks anyway. Here's hoping that a film adaptation of "AS" will be superior to the laughable "Fountainhead," for which I wrote the unintentionally (I think) hilarious screenplay, with nearly as many Freudian phallicisms as Hedy's "Ecstasy."
