The Lyrics

IF

If a man could have two wives at once,
I don't know who I'd choose.
I have so many friends,
So some I'd have to lose.

If the law was such, and not a sin
To marry more than one.
We'd have to get on well,
And boy, would we have fun!
But as things stand, I'll have to make a choice.
It's not ideal, but has to do.

If the chance should come for me to cheat,
I'd do it straight away.
I'd have a wife at home, but then go out to play.
If my life could be that simple
I would be a happy man.
To love two girls at once,
A state I know I can.

But if they knew and packed their bags to leave,
I'd say OK, and start off once again.
