You really want to call an athlete "A-Rod"? Especially in the postseason? Good luck... Too bad this isn't the '66 Packers against the '79 Steelers. Or each franchise's all-time team. What a game either of those would be.
David - Why not? Look whose name is on the trophy! I don't know too much about this year's team, but I like them better than The Pack of Super Bowls I and II (most of us were Browns fans in Cincinnati before the Bengals). Please don't mention Favre...I expect to read in his obituary that he plans to play one more season...lol. Michael - I STILL like the 1969 Jets. Good job! ;D

A little bit too much of the original was left unchanged to suit this writer's taste -- keeping bits and pieces of it is OK, but not really enough changes here.
Also, a number of lines don't scan to their counterparts in the OS (Original Song), which would ordinarily be a deduction for Pacing (or what English teachers call "meter") . However, as you're new here, will abstain from voting for now, and recommend the cure for the scansion/pacing/meter issues (the creativity, you're going to have to do yourself, LOL!):
