The Lyrics

My least fave of this parody album... But it must be here!
Here come ol' fatso
Says all, o-of my good homies.
It's true, aand when I fall,
I do, shake the whole world.
My fat-goes-down-through the street.
And if I get up I surely will break my feet.

I once was so fine.
My fat, wasn't a wall.
I once, was so skinny.
"Til I, drank some cola.
That thing, it does go- to your knees-
Even if you get it when it is sugar free.

Was a feather
But now,
Look at me.

You need protection.
Hide un-derr my stomach.
But you'll, maybe get crushed.
So that's, not a smart move.
I like eating my mac and cheese.
Somewhere in my fat I think I lost my keys.

Was a feather
But now,
Look at me.

FAT! Go! Oh-Go. Go. Oh.

I ate my toaster.
And now, I am obese.
I eat, too much hash brown.
I don't, fit my shelter.
I say I can't resist sweet candy.
I don't like what is happening with my body.

Was a feather
But now,
Look at me.

Oh!
Was a feather, yeh.
Was a feather, yeh.
Was a feather, yeah.
Was a feather, yeah!
Was a feather, yeeeah!
Was a feather, Yeeeah!
Awwwhh
Was a feather, yeah.
Was a feather, yeeeah!

This starts out pretty well, don't sell yourself short. I will read the rest as much as I can, looking forward to it all--it's a major accomplishment to finish a whole album, and you should be proud of yourself, no matter how it turns out.

"..in my fat I think I lost my keys" and "I ate my toaster"; funny! I'll try to get to these later on tonight, though I see several DKTOS already....
John Barry - August 19, 2005 - Report this comment
What Agrimorfee said. I've done a couple of album parodies, and it's a lot of work. Congrats on the effort.
Dominic L. - August 19, 2005 - Report this comment
Thanks, but this is an easy album to parody (You try it!) it only took me 5 hours.
John Barry - August 19, 2005 - Report this comment
Hmmm. I've already done a few songs from this album. Maybe I'll tackle the rest.
Yet Another Dutchman - August 20, 2005 - Report this comment
I did give it a five for overall rating. Brave to do an entire album about a flabby dude, you are probably incredibly versatile to make such a huge (pardon the pun) amount of fat jokes work. Oh, and surely, you mean "to your thighs" instead of "to your knees." I had used in my discarded parody "Pancakes Fill Your Stomach" the line "fill your stomach/pancakes fill your stomach/and your thighs down to your shananananananananananana-knees, knees" instead of "and they'll go down to your shananananananananananana-knees, knees."

Thanks for the tips YAD, I'm guessing that that's to Welcome to the jungle?
Yet Another Dutchman - August 22, 2005 - Report this comment
Yeah. You don't have to take tips from a guy who's new to spoofing like me, though.

You may once have been light as a feather, but at this rate, you'll soon be stiff as a board, if ya know what I mean. You'll need about five coffins to go along with your five points.

Hehe, funny stuff Dominic. Especially liked " once was so fine. My fat, wasn't a wall." and "I don't, fit my shelter".
Agrimorfee - September 08, 2005 - Report this comment
(SOTM) Kinda ironic that you entered this one, the one you liked least! :) The above still stands.
Larry Hensley - September 10, 2005 - Report this comment
(SOTM) Whoa, this was hilarious! So many great lines. 555
Jake A Ralphing (Luke Brattoni) - September 12, 2005 - Report this comment
(SOTM) Doing a whole fat Beatles album? Ambitious, man. Nice parody, though the plethora of fat parodies available have already milked the majority of jokes.
Adagio - September 21, 2005 - Report this comment
(SOTM) Good one!
Peter Andersson - September 24, 2005 - Report this comment
SOTM - Seems like obesity is the SOTM theme of this round...

(SOTM) See above

I agree with Red Ant on the two best lines. Very humorous spoof of out-of-control obesity.

I just saw this tv special on a 1,072 pound man, and he fits this guy's description
Arwen - September 26, 2005 - Report this comment
SOTM...for some reason, I've never been a huge fan of parodies of this OS...they just don't seem to...er...come together...for me. Having said that, I liked this one a LOT more than I thought I would...lots of funny images...and nice pacing...=)

(SOTM) Loved it like a fat kid loves cake! *collective groan from 8th-grade classmates*
Tim Mayfield - September 27, 2005 - Report this comment
(SOTM) The 5's you see have been mildly inflated.
Spaff.com - September 28, 2005 - Report this comment
You rewrote all of Abbey Road in five hours?! Holy crap - some days it takes me that long to type my name. I'll have to check out what you did to "Golden Slumbers" because I had a weight-themed idea for that one myself. Anyhoo - nice job, Dominic. I particularly liked the whole "You need protection" verse.
Dominic L. - September 28, 2005 - Report this comment
Ok, I didn't think I'd get good votes on this, but for some weird reason I submitted it for SOTM.... so, anyway, thanks for the votes!
Phil Alexander - September 29, 2005 - Report this comment
So is there a "Carry that Weight" parody sequel coming up, then?
Dominic L. - September 29, 2005 - Report this comment
The whole album is parodies and up! and I think you can imagine what Carry that Weight will be about.
Claude Prez - September 30, 2005 - Report this comment
I have to admit, the title didn't grab me and when you said yourself that it was your least favorite I really wasn't looking forward to it. But there's some funny stuff in here. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go eat my mac and cheese.
Rex - September 30, 2005 - Report this comment
(SOTM) Some clever lines here. Don't sell yourself short.

(SOTM) This came together well 555

(SOTM) I's say that this parody was PHAT, but that would be SO predictable...so I won't. Great job. 555
Dee Range - October 03, 2005 - Report this comment
SOTM. Very good. Several good lines. Keys and mac/cheese was inspired, as has already been noted...but deserves re-eating.
