Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Answer to Michael Florio's "What Can I Write About?"
Parody writer! (Writer! Writer!)

Please, sir or madam, will you read my song?
It took an hour to write, unlike a William Tong!
It's based on a ditty by a man named Paul
and I need all fives, and I wanna be a parody writer!
Parody writer!

It's a Merry story 'bout a silly man
and his girlfriend Pippin doesn't understand.
His son is working for the Daily News
it's a steady job, but he's also now a parody writer.
Parody writer!

Parody writer! (Writer! Writer!)

It runs seven verses, you can read it through.
I'll be writing more stuff tomorrow, too.
I can make it longer if it makes you smile.
I can change it 'round, and I wanna be a parody writer.
Parody writer!

If you really like it, you can give it fives.
It's the best parody you've seen in your life!
If you criticize it, you're a dirty dog!
'Cause I need approval in my bid to be a parody writer!
Parody writer!

Parody writer! (Writer! Writer!)

Parody writer! (Parody writer!)
(repeat 'til fade)

I think your good parody writer, as always we all have our good days, and bad. This expresses my feelings exactly. I think you did a good job!

Well, it's not the 'best parody I've seen in my life" but it is very good and I gave you 5's.

Nice job, Mike. A little similar to Bob Gomez' "Amiright Writer", though.

All such similiarities are strictly unintentional, Bob.

I cannot often say that I love a parody, but *breathes in* I love this one. 555, all the way.

This is one parody that deserves unanimous 5's!! This is an excellent parody. Fluently paced. I even love the title and those lyrics! Parodies are my favorite hobby. So far I sent in 8 of mine on this site.
