The Lyrics

This parody shows how Madonna uses all these stupid gimmicks just to make money and stay relevant.
Lady Madonna
Gay men at your feet
You don't have to struggle to make ends meet
You make the money, Guy just pays the bills
Ever heard of something called "overkill"?
Friday night you're talking "bout Kabala
Sunday morning you say you're a nun
Monday night you're going off to Mecca
See how we run

Lady Madonna
You are such a fake
Wonder how you could be such a flake

See how we run

Lady Madonna
Dancing on the stage
When are you gonna act your age

Tuesday afternoon you're French kissing Christina
Wednesday night you're out with Britney Spears
When are you gonna ever realize
That nobody cares?

Lady Madonna
I know it's us you thank
As you go skipping off straight to the bank

Pacing was aces to start with...but then it kind of fell apart. =( Nice effort, though...some funny lines...

Great lines and angle - I thought pacing was fine... ;)

Gotta agree with Arwen (she loves it when people agree with her)...pacing kinda tanked by the second verse. Liked the idea. 444

Not the first time I saw a "Lady Madonna" parody about Ms. Ciccone-Penn-Ritchie. It did fall apart by the third verse.

A bit limpy pacing (too many syllables per verse), otherwise fun.

It's not the parody that fell apart, it's Madonna's career. By the way... How come Madonna kissed Britney and Christina? Because, on her best day, Madonna couldn't touch Cher. Not that I have, having blown my chance -- I'm in my 30s now.

I have all sympathy for Madonna with her injury, but yeah, overkill definitely qualified as a describer.

I thought this was a fine parody. Madonna: chameleon or simply a quick clothes-change artist? You decide.
Michael Pacholek - September 08, 2005 - Report this comment
Well, chameleons are reptiles, which means they're cold-blooded... does that help?

I hate madonna, so i love this parody. Coulda forced the lyrics but you didn't, and kept it smooth. 555
