The Lyrics

Sir Cute One, James Paul McCartney Jr., is about to become a father again at the age of 61. This occasion demands this song. Sgt. Pepper, cue the band! (Assuming the Sarge hasn't finally been promoted after 36 years!)
When I get older, losing my mind, three short years from now
will you still be needing dirty diapers changed?
I'll never get this song arranged!
If you get up at quarter to three, will you cry some more?
You'll still be needing a three o'clock feeding when I'm 64!

I'll be old and blue.
When you say your first word, I can sing with you.

I could be cranky, taking a nap when you want to play.
Britney's younger sister is on MTV
King William speaks on BBC!
Asking to go out, play some football? I'm forever sore!
I'll be so needy, achy and bleedy, when I'm 74!

Every night I'll tell you of my days in Liverpool with me old band chums.
Hear the songs we did.
Grandchildren on my knee.
Older than you, kid!

Send me a postcard, bifocal lens, I will need to view.
Indicate precisely what you mean to say:
Yours sincerely, needing Ben-Gay!
I just can't answer, senile form, stuck here on the floor!
I'll be so needy. Will you still feed me when I'm 84?
Hoo!

1964, Paul talking about his grandfather: "He's a very clean man, but he's a real mixer!" 2003, Paul himself: A dirty old man! On the other hand, as has been proven with John and George, it beats the hell out of the alternative.

Good parody, but Paul may be old in age, but he's young in mind and body. Who knows, he may still be touring at 84.

Pretty funny, Michael

One of my favorites! Good pace and great parallel to the original. One of your better works, there Michael. I gave it a straight 5.0.

And Heather is a pretty thing for a 61 year old ex-Beatle to start a family with.

Outstanding! Very well rhymed. I like your vision of the future of entertainment.

Great Song! Think it's insane to raise babies at that age. But, again Mc Cartney is rich, and can afford nannies, and a college fund.

I missed this one until you told me. Paul wrote the original when he was 16, so maybe it will be out of copyright in his lifetime. When I wrote mine, I was thinking of myself. As far as being too old, look at Tony Randall.

Great job, Michael, clever arrangement and some funny lines! 5s. And thanks for the shameless reference to this from my epic "When I Hit the Floor", sure to go down as yet another parody submitted to Amiright. Rick's comment above is now darkly funny, eh?
