Song Parodies -> "Lip-Syncing"

Original Song Title:

"Day Tripper"

Original Performer:

The Beatles

Parody Song Title:

"Lip-Syncing"

Parody Written by:

Red Ant

The Lyrics

Regardless of whether it is spelled "sync" or "synch", lip-sync(h)ing is freakin' lame.
[intro]

Some have no talent
They're taking the cheesy way out
Find it pathetic
They're taking the sleazy way out, now

I see the lip.... syncers
I want the singin' back
I think it's so.... wrong
Move your mouth, no words come out

Milli Vanilli
Botched their song live on the air
Jessica Simpson
Botched her song live on the air, wow

They were just lip.... syncin'
What were they thinkin' then?
I think it's so.... wrong
Move your mouth, no words come out

Ahh ...

Tired of posers
There's one thing I cannot stand
Tired of posers
Who can't sing in their own band, no

Don't want the lip.... syncin'
No backing vocal tracks
You wanna sing.... songs?
Belt it out, what rock's about!

Lip-syncing
Lip-syncing sucks
Lip-syncers
Lip-syncers suck

I don't know the song(I think), what album is this on? I do agree with you on the subject of this parody(I remember the Milli Vanilli mess when they showed it on VH1, I thought it was funny myself).

Q: What's worse than artists lip syncing lyrics?
A: Politicians lip synching moral views!

BTW: You don't mind if I pull my usual stunt and give an URL to the original song do you?Good!:

Technology's been a gosend for no-talents such as Ashlee Simpson. . .the list goes on. 5s. How about "Sing for Yourself" for "Think for Yourself"?

Bang! You hit the nail right on the head with this one. REAL talent like Alice Cooper, etc don't need no stinkin' lip sync stuff! 555

Thanks Step-chan, Alvin, Peter, AFW, John B, Carol and Pat.

Step-chan, not sure of TO album, it's on the #1 CD though, which is a must have CD.

John: I'll pass but thanks for the suggestion..

Carol and Pat: IMO Lip-syncing should be against the law in a live show. I don't have a problem with it in music videos (if there were still such a thing). I can only guess that certain artists (excluding Milli Vanilli) have such little talent or poor live voices that lip-syncing is their only option. That is, until the vocal track messes up and sh*t-cans their career.

I tried playing the loading the song and it said it wasn't respond(thus causing me to have to end the the program and exit the site). I'll come back to it when I get the CD.

ABC3 - HAHAHA! So true mon, they do suck. I probably should lip-sync due to my awesomely crap singing, but I sing crap with pride! PRIDE I TELL YE! 5-5-5

(ABC-L) Good job addressing a longtime pet peeve of mine. Deceiving the public like that is just wrong, and lip-syncing nowadays just proves what a crappy singer you are. (It's a good thing there are no longer any TV shows that REQUIRE musicians to lip-sync, like American Bandstand, or for the Brits out there, Top of the Pops.)

(ABC) Hey, if the lip-syncers can do it and get away with it and still continue making massive amounts of money, well, good for them --- that means they've fooled enough of the people enough of the time to please 'em and sleaze 'em and still make a dime --- BUT IT STILL SUCKS!! Oh yeah -- GREAT parody, Red Ant, 555.

(ABC3) I don't remember an event from Jessica Simpson where her lip-sync was botched, but I remember Ashlee Simpson's!

The whole Sydney Olympics Opening Ceremony was lip-synched, which is why everyone was so confident there'd be no fumbles - just another fake part of that fake fake world - great target and execution, jack - 555
