Parody Song Title:

"All The Al Pacinos"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

NYPD has been cancelled, but that never stopped Arthur McKenzie
Ah, look at all the Al Pacinos

Ah, look at all the Al Pacinos

Alan R. Wigby
furrows his forehead and gives 'em his surliest glare
tousles his hair
nervously wriggling
twitches his mouth then he suddenly leaps up and roars
show him the door

All the Al Pacinos
where do they all come from?
All the Tarantinos
would Kill to be Billed on

Arthur McKenzie
learning his lines for a bit-part on NYPD
no-one will see
Watch him preparing
chewing his gum in the mirror when nobody's there
nobody cares

All the hot Latinos
are hoping to get found
ord'ring cappucinos
Ricky Martin bound

Ah, look at all the hot Latinos

Ah, look at all the hot Latinos

Alan R. Wigby
died on the stage and was thankyou'd and sent on his way
wasn't his day
Arthur McKenzie
wiping the spit off his gum as he waits for the nod
misses the squad

All the Al Pacinos
where do they all come from?
All the Valentinos
that's it folks - move along

DK the show and those actors, but your perfectly-paced singalong song makes the picture very clear. 555
btw, how was it that Serpico was the only human being within 100 miles of New York City who didn't know that the police force was corrupt??? always wondered.

Excellent overview of the Hollywood mentality. Great rhyme scheme....Pacino, Tarantino, Latino, cappucino...loved the Ricky Martin line in particular. 555

You can call me al.......no, not really. Robert DeZero told me to give you 555's, so here they are.

Have to admit I've seen only perhaps 10 NYPD episodes ever, but this had beautiful pacing and rhyming, and was a fine sing over TOS. 5s.

This is most tricky and unique

Actually I only mentioned NYPD because having included it irreplaceably in a line, I then discovered the show was cancelled last year, so I had to make up an excuse - this was just about how devastating it must be for 90% of the wannabes on the Hollywood TV-show audition circuit

thanks TT (very good point about Serpico, and gee didn't he look cool in the 70s?) - thanks Dee, Royce, alvin (lol), Rick, Larry and Red :-)

Thought this was great, how could the title not get me in for a start !

Was that crack about Hollywood wannabes direcTTed aTT anyone in parTTicular???

btw, my residual check for the first quarter was short $0.000013462. Did you not rent the movie as you promised you would???
Stuart McArthur - April 29, 2006 - Report this comment
of course not, TT - that's the last thing I'd do - I actually started this one 2 years ago (hence the NYPD reference - it was still around then) and only just found it again to finish off

and re Thelma and Louise - I'll make it up to you by hiring it and not returning it on time - do you get a cut from the overdue fines as well? (you should - they claim an overdue return means someone else was unable to rent it)
