The Lyrics

Dunno The Original Tune: Here Y'all Go
[ACT THREE]
[SCENE TEN]

{Setting: The Gazebo}

(Britney shakes her head and returns back on stage bastardizing another song)

BUBBA
"Are you sure Justin?"

JUSTIN
"It's been a month Bubba"

BUBBA
"Alright then, I'll drive yeh down to the airport"

(Sadie grabs ahold of Justin)

SADIE
"Justin! Baby! I'm going to miss you!"

JUSTIN
"Sadie, darling, how will you miss me if you never leave?"

SADIE
"Huh?"

JUSTIN
"I bought two tickets for here and back, Bubba's staying. Do you want to go back?"

(Sadie knocks Justin against Bubba's car and starts making out)

PAUL
"There's so much love in the air, man"

(George sticks his thumb down his throat)

PAUL
"Tell me about it, Gagfest. Let's go get high"

{Setting: Inside George's Volkswagen}

PAUL
"Cause suicide is painless. It brings on many changes.. And I can take or leave it. If I PLEASE!!!"

(George leans against Paul, then shakes his head and rummages through the glove compartment. He returns with a bag of LSD)

PAUL
"Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds! Like hook me up man! It's time for our trip!"

(Paul and George pop acid)

"Journey Past Reality"
By Red Ant

(PAUL)
Wow, this acid is some seriously strong stuff...

(GEORGE)
You did it this time

(PAUL)
I ate all our acid, George, I'm sorry
Lets make a song then!

(GEORGE)
'kay!]

(MYSTICAL VOICE)
Numb yer mind, numb yer mind, numb yer mind, numb yer mind,
Numb yer mind, numb yer mind, numb yer mind, numb yer mind,
Numb yer mind, numb yer mind, numb yer mind, numb yer mind, numb yer ...

{begin a bunch of weird sound effects and samples here}

(PAUL)
"... wow, there's these pink circles coming from the speakers
... but now they're purple, no morphing orange squares"

Using a voice subdued and subliminal try,
not to lose your mind there's another 8 minutes to go...

(GEORGE)
I will ramble on,
just in case this music isn't making you paranoid yet ...
Your trip's a journey past reality/ego is leaving...
Intending to fly ... listeners?
Don't jump though
I've got to say, regrettable that...
... ground's, hard when you land down ... too bad you aren't Superman
And do not stare at the sun: blind folks can't see
But ultimately ... your choice
What's that scream?

It's all in your head man...
Pace your breaths
Diethylamide
Is on your mind
Great colors you'll be seeing

(PAUL)
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

(MYSTICAL VOICE)
Numb yer mind, numb yer mind

(PAUL)
"ARGH!!!
ARGH!!!"

Lose control
Let ego go

(MYSTICAL VOICE)
Numb yer mind, numb yer mind, numb yer mind
Numb yer mind, numb yer mind, numb yer mind
Numb yer mind, numb yer mind, numb yer mind

(GEORGE)
Wash of waves over coarse sand ...

Chosen are these samples
Whatever you're doing
You're being watched - don't move

It's okay because I've stopped time, how fortunate...

There's no time, space or time
Time times time is time

(MYSTICAL VOICE)
Numb yer mind, numb yer mind ...

(PAUL)
Why! Time!

(MYSTICAL VOICE)
Numb yer mind, numb yer mind

(GEORGE)
...don't start losing it
Loss, gain, see it's all a state
Compare with white cows
It makes perfect sense

(PAUL)
...2 by 2 side by side
... Noah's ark

Witch doctors, which thoughts, are evident

I have all of the answers, aha...

I, numb yer mind

(GEORGE)
... sticky situation

Time's not standing still

Fowards, and then backwards

(MYSTICAL VOICE)
Numb yer mind, numb yer...

(GEORGE)
A man without mirrors will have no face
Are the dead teleported to the sun?
You can really try, but won't find its real meaning...
Dwell on what I'm saying, with my voice low and your head high...
Half your size he grows

(PAUL)
That's right

(GEORGE)
Search and acquire rocks; glass houses aren't sane
Starts don't know when they have ended
But ends know beginnings
Circumference...

(MYSTICAL VOICE)
Numb yer mind, numb yer mind, numb yer mind,
Numb yer mind, numb yer mind, numb yer mind,
Numb is fine, numbs in 9s, number 9

(GEORGE)
Altered mind indeed,
and you really should proceed with caution, like rabbits
Follow none too close
There's many roads, take them all and none at once instead
Who says it's a paradox? all answers are questionable
So I say be merry, enjoy faux indole alkaloids, and the beat

(PAUL)
There's a rocking chair, and it is rocking but nobody's there

You still in the mood for tripping?

(GEORGE)
Think! Talk for walking, walk for talking
Words for hearing and ears for saying
Hands for tracing and arms for standing

...only I find the light-tripper unable to,
comprehend all the meaning

(MYSTICAL VOICE)
In yer mind, in yer mind, in yer mind, in yer mind, in yer mind

(GEORGE)
LSD allows chemical imbalance

Altering neurons, brain pattern waves

Now do YOU see,
the twist?

Albert Hoffman

Made this, brother, and it served them well

(PAUL)
Nothing is something
"What? what? Oh..."

(GEORGE)
Crazy, way back when, discovered by accident

...you find beautiful things...
Slowed trip, adjust your being now; there is no drug

It's mind over blotter

(PAUL)
Paul is dead, Paul is dead ....

it all makes sense now

This was one of my favorite parts to do, although I don't hear any of that in the original song no matter how hard I strain to. I actually gave George a speaking role after the entire rest of the play he was SILENT, "silent"... Get it, get it..... Well I get it! It also shows the carefreeness of my two favorite characters, Paul and George. The M*A*S*H theme was also a good touch if I do say so myself (yet another Family Guy refrence if any of you have seen that episode). This was one of the longest songs on the "White Trash Album", and one of the most random. Thanks for that Jack.
