Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

desmond is a doctor in this clinic place
molly is his patient, understand
desmond says to molly, something's been erased
and molly's downcast as the doc describes her glands

ovaries, overwrought
life is long...gone
sorry, but their life is gone
ovaries, overwrought
life is long...gone
sorry, but their life is gone

desmond says he's sorry but they'll work no more
no more babies will those darned things bring
look of shock on molly...shaken to the core
because the news he brings her really hurts and stings

ovaries, overwrought
life is long...gone
sorry, but their life is gone
ovaries, overwrought
life is long...gone
sorry, but their life is gone

they were healthy for years
now they'll yield no seed...to grow
just forget about kids...hope that's not too hard
told desmond to molly jones ( NO NO NO NO )

happy no more after...she just feels disgrace
desmond comes up with another plan
molly gets a surrogate to take her place
and she has three more children with her husband, dan

ovaries, overwrought
life is long...gone
sorry, but their life is gone
ovaries, overwrought
life is long...gone
sorry, but their life is gone

but if your eggs are done
some other gal has some

That was really cute, glad for the happy ending (as a new father who briefly had this worry, I can empathize!). 555

Been there, unfortunately. This is a good parody but I gave it a low mark for humor since the subject matter is inherently not funny, especially for those of us who've suffered the pain of infertility (and the financial pain of infertility treatment...that donor egg probably costs $20K or more, for instance). So...424.

I would've gone for "Ovaries Overdone" as the title, Al...for the sake of rhyme. Small niggle aside, this was all good. 555
