Song Parodies -> "Little Big Horn Medley"

Original Song Title:

"Sun King Medley"

Original Performer:

The Beatles

Parody Song Title:

"Little Big Horn Medley"

Parody Written by:

Melanie Lee

The Lyrics

Incorporating Sun King/Mean Mr. Mustard/Polythene Pam/She Came in Through the Bathroom Window. Inspired by littleCupCakes' comments at my "Oil King" (not "Oil King Medley") parody. I'm using the idea of the song "Mr. Custer" but not its tune, obviously. And yes, I know the Little Big Horn story was set to the Sun King medley here already! Note: "Long Hair" was one of the Indians' many nicknames for Custer. Also note: I get very politically incorrect here!
(war drums beating)

Shh!
Here comes the Long Hair!
Here comes the Long Hair!
Everybody’s hiding.
Everybody’s waiting.
Here comes the Long Hair!

Wampum wigwam tepee tomahawk how brave squaw papoose buffalo
Paleface covered wagon speak with forked tongue singing wires iron horse
Warpath reservation renegades they not smoke peace pipe massacre

****

Please Mr. Custer,
Don’t wanna go!
I’m saying no
To this next battle.
Don’t want to end up as dead
With an arrow stuck in my head!
Think I’ll go to New York instead.
I’m a weak white man.
I’m a weak white man.

Their medicine man, Sitting Bull,
He’s really cool.
He’s a prayer warrior.
Their Chief Crazy Horse leads the braves.
Sitting Bull is prayin’ up saves.
We’ll end up in cavalry graves.
They’re some feisty red men!
Feisty red men!

****

Well, you should see Indians fight!
We should retreat or we won’t live through the night!
They’re coming: thousands of Sioux,
Cheyenne and Blackfooters, too!
Well, you should see Indians fight!
Whoop! Whoop! Whoop!

They keep on streaming on right over the hill!
Oh, can you talk about a view to a kill!
Watch all those arrows go by!
Watch all those tomahawks fly!
I wish I’d taken me a painkiller pill!
Help! Help! Help!

(instrumental break)

****
(“Here comes the millionth arrow! Oh, look out!”)

It came in through my back and sternum,
Projected by a redskin’s bow,
But now I lie face down and bleeding!
Can it be it’s my time to go?

Didn’t anybody warn us?
Didn’t anybody see?
If you think that this is over,
Just you wait till Wounded Knee!

You’ll say you want to do a Ghost Dance.
You’ll dance it fifteen times a sun.
You’ll want to rise, but you’ll have no chance
Against cannons and Gatling guns.

We’ll gun down your old men, your women;
We’ll gun down little children, too.
We end wars by killing civilians;
It’ll work at Hiroshima, too!

Don’t you say I didn’t warn you!
Don’t you say I couldn’t see!
If you think that this is over,
Just you wait till Wounded Knee!
Oh, yeah!
