Parody Song Title:

"Stimulation"

Parody Written by:

John Jenkins

The Lyrics

You say you’ve got some stimulation;
Well you know we all want prosperity.
But we don’t want our generation
To sell our souls and screw posterity.
So though your talk is quite seductive,
Your package is like the bank bailout.
And that was put together all wrong,
All wrong! All wrong!

You say you had a revelation,
But we know all the things that you’ve inhaled.
So please stop your infatuation
With concepts we all know have always failed.
And if you use power to tax and regulate,
All I can tell you is that will exacerbate
Small business woes, which is just all wrong,
All wrong! All wrong!

You say you’ll give us job creation;
Well you know that smells like cow manure.
You’re causing people agitation;
Government’s the problem, not the cure.
And if you do government planning like Chairman Mao,
You ain’t going to see the recovery of the Dow.
Don’t you know it’s gonna be all wrong,
All wrong! All wrong!

Hey, I want the government to give me something. Tax cuts! Money! Free cheese! ;-) Liked the parts in his speech last night where he was gonna Save the Planet AND Cure Cancer!

John Lennon ridiculed those lefties of his generation who worshiped the mass-murder Mao Zedong. Sad that Obama is still following the Little Red Book when it comes to economic policy. I enjoyed the way you incorporated this idea into your parody.

JJ - I especially liked the Mao/Dow couplet. You did that so well. I'm with Merry - cut me some cheese. This stimulis reeks of cut cheese. I don't pretend to know the solution to this mess and I don't believe that one man in office, any man, can solve it. We need our leaders to work together with the rest of the world, but how can we set the example of team effort when we ourselves show the world on a daily basis just how divided we are? But when you are up to your arse in alligators it is difficult to remember that the primary objective was to drain the swamp. Well done sir!
