The Lyrics

Hunting in Upstate New York.
Standing at the base of a mountain
Hunting for a couple of deer.
My rifle misfires and flattens my tires
Now jeep-less on this rugged frontier.
Diced you know it ain’t cheesy
You know how deer meat can be.
Then chocolate starts flowin’,
This combo captivates me.

Finally got my inner tubes patched
Must have been a quarter to three.
I’m hungry again, for that venison
The one I shot from under that tree.
Sliced you know I ain’t queasy
You know how Bambi can be.
When you undercook it
Get diarrhea for free.

Pitched a tent when it got real dark,
Camped out for the rest of the night.
The cocoa beans flowed, then roasted some toad,
I like my chocolate dark or real white.
Fire’s warm but it’s breezy,
You know how camping can be.
The ambers are glowin’
They’re going to warmify me.

Bridge:
Waking up you realize it’s a rainy day,
Best to leave this fool on the hill.
Last night we ate deer,
Grilled with some old steer,
But chocolate moose on hillsides does spill.
Crap!

Finally made it home to Manhattan,
Spoiled meat I put in the fridge.
Hello toilet bowl, did I pay my toll
at the Verrazano Narrows Bay Bridge?
Priced at only ten dollars
You know how New York can be.
It sure beats the tunnels
Did you expect a small fee?

Haven’t had a deer in a while,
With cocoa on a bed of romaine.
Some tart vinaigrette, are we happy yet,
Or do-you-think I’m freakin’ insane?
Iced on fresh shredded lettuce,
You know how fiber can be.
The day we went hunting,
In Northern Allegany.

Wish you'd come and hunt down the urban deer around where I live. I probably average about 5 near misses a week hitting them with my car. 555!!!

Thanks Alvin, Mark & Leo. I honestly don't hunt, it's been darn near 30 years since I shot a cap gun, but yes they are quite the danger here in S. Jersey too.
