The Lyrics

Don't get me wrong...I like Sean Hannity. I just feel that his new show isn't quite as stimulating without the presence of Alan Colmes. Think of this offering as a review rather than an attack. Sean, let not your heart be troubled.
He's a real right wing man
Sitting in his right wing land
Trading all his right wing jabs with nobody

Alan Colmes has up and gone
Now, alas, there's only Sean
Something's missing and it's plain to see

It's less show - more a party
It's like Laurel without Hardy
It's less fun when all that we see is Hannity

No more smart leftist to heckle
Just can't substitute Bob Beckel
It's not quite the show it used to be

Listen Sean - please grab it
You're Costello with no Abbott
We would like to see give and take that isn't fake

'Though I still think Sean's O.K.
Liked it more the other way
Hannity, please hear and heed my plea

Don't like schlock sensation
But some good confrontation
Lights up the tree - it's how we see democracy

'Though I watch your show each night
Some left can enhance the right
Find another Colmes today, Sean Hannity
That's the best way to expose insanity
Find another Colmes today, Sean Hannity
;D

I'd like to see a show with Sean Hannity, Alan Colmes and Glenn Beck. It would go from Abbott and Costello to The Three Stooges. They could call it the three ring circuit. Yeah - Hannity is well, just Hannity without his sidekick, Colmes. It was fair and balanced when the two of them aired. Now it seems to be just fair or balanced.

Never saw the show, but get the idea from watching clips on The Daily Show - good point, well written and good use of OS.

Not a fan of right-wing news shows, but I thought this was a pretty good parody. 5s for you.

I really liked watching the two of them together, as well. They WERE a little like the classic comedy teams!

Not bad, but you're way off. Hannity treated Colmes like dirt -- there is a reason Colmes left, after all -- so he would be Hardy or Abbott, and Colmes would be Laurel or Costello. Though Costello, unlike Laurel, was no Colmesian milquetoast.

I watch Fox News but I also watch all three network news casts almost daily usually between 4;00AM to 5:30AM. You need to see both sides of the coin to know its true value. I'm not a fan of either right or left slanting News. I just want to be able to glean enough information from multiple sources so I can make a more accurate judgement on what the reall skinny is. When I was in the military I read a lot of communist propaganda and radical stuff. You hold your friends close but it is the fool who does not hold his enemies closer. It is always best to deal with the devil that you know and the best way to do that is to read what he writes so you know how he thinks..
