The Lyrics

OS video is worth it for the haircuts alone...

Song being reworked: "Saturday Night At The Movies".

Saturday, I love, babe
You know what we do
Gonna pick you up, babe
See some show that's new
Popcorn, candy
Ain't it dandy
We love to go to the movies
One day each week

Ev'ryone's dressed fine, girl
Gonna have a ball
Glad that you are mine, girl
Balcony and all....
Necking, petting
Cozy, getting
Who cares what picture they show, girl?
Hug cheek to cheek!

Bal-con-y seat
We cu- -u- -u -u- -uddle
Coolly discreet
That "buttered" popcorn: What's in there?   [1]

Technicolor™; wide-screen
Cast from Hollywood
Figures girls don't hide, seen
But none quite like you
Hugging, kissing
Movie, missing
A lovely girl by my side: keen!
Get on, our freak

Lovely physique
Ca-re -e- -e- -e- ess you
If none would peek,
Why, I'd undress you in your chair

Movies, Satur-day, girl
Hand sneaks up your skirt
Public? Private play, girl
Just about to squirt
Groping, feeling
Take turns -- kneeling
Lose un-derwear; out of way, girl
Play hide 'n seek!

Whis-per, not speak
"Love, Softly Shriek"!

Whoa--eight lays a week?! Get a room--or better yet, a drive-in! Great 'stuff', man!

TJC: Hate to brag, but as a teen -- n/m. (e-mail if you want details, heh!) ... and oh, those drive-in movies! Kids today DK what they're missing! Thanks for v/c.

Mark Scotti: Indeed!!!!

Abby Quiet: Obviously, you didn't go to the song linked at the last line ... but thanks for v/c, anyway.
Besides, it's better than all those @#$% cell phones going off! :-D

Brilliant, but please be careful. Eight smooshed days make one weak! ;D

Old Man Ribber: Now, *that*s what TT's been waiting for from the Ribber! :-D (thanks!)

John Barry: Only the author, who's a bit "spent" -- how did *you* do ten a day, five days a week, for months on end??? Thanks for v/c.

You cooked up SOME stew...obviously with a LOT of spice thrown in. Consider yourself e-mailed. ; ) 5's

Ribber? (groan) LOL

Belle: Thanks for v/c. Glad you liked. ...(don't understand what "consider youself emailed" means..??)

Good work here as usual... on the buttered-popcorn thing, I knew someone who stuck airline-size liquor bottles, pills and miniature candy bars in the lining of his trench coat and transferred them to a jumbo popcorn bucket, and another who surreptitiously poured liquid LSD on his popcorn. "Consider yourself e-mailed" = same as "you've got mail". 555 thumbs up.

Andria: Thank you very much for the kind words and vote. The actual popcorn joke in mind is a bit, uh, "racier" -- use your imagination, and note that "buttered" is in quotes ... ;)
Neither Hollywood nor AOL care about grammar. "You've got mail" is ungrammatically redundant. "You've" = "You have". So "You have mail" is correct. (or "You've mail".) "You have got mail" is superfluous. ; - D

Sorry about that digression -- I still don't get what is being said. Belle did *not* send me an e-mail, at least not at the address in my Captcha at the bottom, which is the same one she used before. So if I don't have mail from them, does it mean something else? -- TIA for any reply, and if you need more details on the popcorn .... ;)
