Original Song Title:

"Wild Honey Pie"

Original Performer:

The Beatles

Parody Song Title:

"The Red Knight Flies"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

This version is about the legendary "Red Knight of Germany" (aka Allied-titled Red Baron) in WW1 with his red-painted Fokker Dr.I triplane. He flew more Albatros a/c than the Dr.I triplane, but was most remembered in the latter. He went on to score 80 kills- the highest in WW1 before being shot by Australian MG fire from ground troops. He was NOT killed in the air, contrary to popular belief.
