The day breaks, my mind aches
I found that every weapon that I tried
To snuff her hide did not erase her
I stalked her, I socked her
She laughed it off and said that
I was a big failure and I couldn't waste her

No competence or self-respect

But I completely missed her neck

I shot her, I missed her
I tried a knife but only cut my arm
Did her no harm, she laughed for hours

No tiny threat to her at all
