Parody Song Title:

"Plutocracy"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Plutocracy
It is the future of society
Now say farewell to democracy
as haywire's gone economy

Suddenly
Politics have simply gone awry
the middle class has sunk in poverty
Oh, here to stay is plutocracy

Why it had to come
I don't know, they do not say
Something has gone wrong
money rules, and its here to stay -

Plutocracy -
most deprave the form of tyranny
Can you notice all the irony
it's bedtime for democracy

Amazed at your command of English. Finns must really study the language from an early age to be able to compose poetry in it. "Most depraved" is correct form, but that could be a typographical error. You are right about the disappearance of freedom and the deliberate destruction of the middle class by the "banksters" (banker + gangster) and their cronies in government. This is characteristic of the corrupt government of Chicago, the real hometown and influence behind Barack Obama.

Patrick, my paternal grandparents lived in US during the inter-war years and my dad has been born in Minneapolis. It is only merely chance I am not an American. We begin studying English (or German or Russian for those who choose it) when we are on 3rd grade, but my grandparents taught me the basics of English already earlier. English is actually only my third language; Finnish is my first and Swedish is my second. "Bankster" is an excellent neologism, and describes well the behavior of certain crooks in business.

In most of USA study of a second language begins in high school, at a time past when most students have already lost their childhood ability to absorb new words. They are more interested in the opposite sex and are inhibited about pronouncing unfamiliar sounds. I studied Latin along with what I learned in Church, took Spanish and French in high school and college. Learned some Esperanto at home and can read German which I learned at work studying old Third Reich books and postcards. Still could never create any original or parody poem or song in any of those languages. There are a couple of local TV and radio stations that broadcast in Spanish, and several Spanish language newspapers. If you look very carefully you may find old hymn books or a building cornerstone that shows the once prominent place that German held in Kansas. But, that is mostly gone. During WWI, it could be dangerous to speak German in public. It didn't help matters that many German speakers were Mennonites and other pacifist sects that saw no reason to fight, and so were branded as "disloyal". Finns have strong reasons for learning Russian. As I recall from history, wasn't Mannerheim a native speaker of Swedish who served in the Russian army and didn't learn Finnish until he was an adult?

5s! If Santorum gains the REP lead and wins we'll be living in a theocracy which would be worse IMHO.

Yep, you are right. Mannerheim's home language was Swedish, and belonging in the nobility his natural choice of career was military, where he spoke Russian. He learned Finnish well only in his adulthood, but became completely fluent. He also spoke French. Finns usually are quite fluent in foreign languages: Finnish economy is dependent on exports, and as it is very unlikely the business companions would study Finnish, we study the language of theirs.

I went to a unique school here in America for two years (between the ages of six and eight) where I learned Spanish and Russian. This helped me a great deal when 20 years down the road, I studied Arabic for the US military. This is how I come to have such a facility in churning out parodies about Muslims. I would do these in the army to crack up my Army buddies. I also think learning foreign languages early in life helps whn it comes to this comedic form, as it is just another form of word substitution.
