The Lyrics

Finally a reason to tribute my favorite Superhero of all time: "Plastic Man" He's a little bit obscure but he's absolutely hysterical!
This Superhero’s made of plastic
Into shapes he converts
A tank, a penguin or some chapstick
He is so diverse
Bright red trapeze shirt he kicks their ass in

Toxic Waste turned him elastic
Arms when stretched aren’t hurt
His personality’s sarcastic
Crude, mocking and curt
When heroes call him “Jerk”
Won’t change his wide grin

Fights bad guys but he’s quite wacky
Too much flair when he tries to pound
His disguise is awfully tacky
Turned into a bright red Taxi

Once a crook the switch was drastic
Changing shape and size
Might be a weirdo but a winner
Victory’s his prize
And some good punch lines to super bad jokes

“Suck it Slime!!!”

That line should be: "Once a crook the switch was drastic" NOT "Once a cook the switch was drastic"

This project is giving me appreciation for all kinds of superheroes I don't really know yet. Some great soundalikes in here. GREAT WORK MATT. GREAT PROJECT.

Nice work-555! Seems like it is Superhero day today. I did Superman and Harley Quinn with my Gaga parodies... but recently have also covered Cheetah vs Wonder Woman, Pantha, Black Widow, and The Avengers.

Vaguely familiar with the Man, but I like the parody.

Figure I should at least listen/read and v/c on one before I fall asleep (the late update crushed my plan to check out many today, as I had other business). I vagely remember plastic man from somewhere, was he really from Marvel Universe?

Actually Peter he's from the DC Universe. He had his own show back in the 70s and he's also sometimes in the Justice League. He's really obscure but his comics are hilarious!

Peter's probably thinking of Reed Richards "Stretch" from Fantastic 4- that's what I thought too before reading your lyrics!!!

Wasn't Plastic Man from a different company originally and DC purchased the rights? Like Captain Marvel?
Rob Arndt - May 26, 2012 - Report this comment
He was in Quality Comics from 1941-56 and then bought out by DC. He had a TV series in the 1980s...
