"Elizabeth"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

As Paul McCartney took to the stage to perform for Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee on June 4, 2012, oh how I wish he might have played perhaps his most famous composition "Yesterday"--but with a slightly different twist....
Elizabeth,
When she's interviewed she pleads the fifth
She's as cuddly as a monolith
That is Queen Elizabeth..

Suddenly,
It's her flaunted Diamond Jubliee
60 years she's led the Monarchy
Those 60 years went rapidly

Why she rarely spoke I don't know she wouldn't say
I'd say how much longer can Britain put up with...
Elizabeth,
Palace Queen of Diamond Jubilee,
Now I think she needs to hideaway
Oh no more Queen Elizabeth

Why she evil-eyed Princess Di I couldn't say
Why she won't step down makes me frown
I've had it with...
Elizabeth,
Prince Charles "Mummy" should be mummified,
Though I'm not proposing Queenacide
I am through with Elizabeth..
Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm mummy....

Terrible. Bad rhymes, and not funny at all. Or, as the Queen herself would say, "We are not amused."

Jim, I gave you 5s based on the merits of the parody value but personally find this one a bit disturbing as HRH Elizabeth II HAS served for 6 decades through everything the Monarchy has gone through and during a time now where her reign is largely symbolic. But she is still the Queen and deserves respect. Even before she took to the throne, she served in WW2 as a female mechanic and driver. She worked on 5-10 ton lorries and other vehicles: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v642/shakespeares_sister/shakes4/qewwii.jpg
