The Lyrics

The recent State of the Union Address #5 was more of the same with President Obama promising all things to all people. For the economy he promises growth (but in reality it is at a paltry 1.2% avg.); for healthcare he boasts that it will provide more coverage to uninsured America (not if you make over $15,200/yr which means you are still poor and have to pay more... and let's not forget that many states will still oppose the overhaul and NOT participate); and then there's the proposed "Assualt Weapons" Ban unpopular with REPs and most of America (Sporters aren't assualt weapons Mr. President, you idiot, and 95% of all gun crime is with handguns!!!); and lastly the promise of a pathway to legal status in US for the 11 million illegals (gee, must wanna secure the Hispanic vote for the next DEM candidate in 2016)!!! Of course, he smiled and promised the Middle Class that job creation was important, but then again in the last 4 years nothing was really done leaving 15 million unemployed and another 15 million under-employed. Back to $4 gas too. What President Obama is good at is making promises. Since it is his second term he can prety much take more vacation days to establish a Presidential record and sit on his ass when not fighting REPs. Poor US... sigh...
Pres Address
Pres Address

What a mess
What a mess

Real growth test
Healthcare guess
Ban unrest
Illegal fest

Middle Class jobs? Just less...

[Promises... Barack's best]

Pretty much a mirror image of what 'Call Me Dave' and 'Spare' Clegg have been doing over here too... they must all be taking notes off each other. Short, sharp and sweet, Rob - nice job

I suppose you'd rather have the last guy, hemorrhaging 750,000 jobs a month and 5,000 soldiers dying in a war for lies? This guy saved the economy, ended the war and killed bin Laden. The least you could do is tell the truth about what he's done. Though it would be nice if you could say, "Thank you, Mr. President."
