The Lyrics

The Navy's version of the X-47B (SD-502 or Salty Dog 502) made its first carrier landing in history recently, having been launched out over the Atlantic and coming in to land on the deck of the aircraft carrier George H.W. Bush while it was moving. This is a radical departure away from remote controlled flying as the mini-B-2-like drone ran off internal guidance from its computers. However, although a first for a drone for the landing, the flight path/plan had been pre-set on the ground... so it wasn't 100% unmanned nor smart in the true sense. The X-47 program for 2 prototypes and testing has run $1.4 Billion but most say it is worth the price due to the evolving nature of UCAVs which will also need to be deployed and recovered at sea in future conflicts. The standard X-47B has a 62 ft wingspan, can fly high-subsonic, to an altitude of 41,000 ft, and range of 2400 miles. The drone easily can beat any naval or land pilot for endurance at 30 hrs vs 10. And it has a bomb bay for future arming. One can be seen in simulated movie warfare in "Skyline" when it nukes an intruder alien craft.
You’re called SD-502
Tested your naval skill
A deck landing for the first time
Loved the way you flew, were thrilled

Naval dreams are coming true
The landing brought you fame
All done through use of computers
No remote flying changes the game

The X-4-7B is a treasure
It’s IG makes it smart
Can stay in the air 30 hrs
High Tech sets it apart

When at first they spotted you
Joy from the carrier
Slowly descending into view
Then an arrester wire caught you
It was an incredible sight to see
Worth the $1.4 Bil
Were thrilled

Bat-wing mini B-2 gave deck crew chills
Armed version will be better still…

Too bad the X-47B is built by Northrop (See book: "Military Aviation for Dummies") so that would be Palmdale ;-)

The X-47B is also nicknamed "Iron Raven"... FYI

I dare anyone here to find "MQ Half-2" anywhere online...

Thank God you said that, I'd been driving myself nuts looking for it. Maybe the seven anonymous voters who found this parody fascinating will take you up on your challenge.

I see you're even responding to imaginary commenters now. Disturbing symptoms. I think I understand ...

LL, stick to your own parodies as your aviation and esp. overall military knowledge compared to mine is nothing. Absolute zero. Be my guest and write anything about any weapon system and watch me tear it to pieces from memory and experience. All you are is a troll commentator and your author page is not all 5s... so much for your imagined superiority complex. I write about what I know and have my own sense of humor and fanbase. Your 1-bombing as well as you buddies' has not affected me in the slightest and JAB just blanketed the page with prodcution numbers which contain many repeat songs in his series. Strange how you condemn me for this but not him and he posted 100 parodies, breaking my 22 in a day record. I could respond with 101 by Monday by using mil systems of the Third Reich alone and still be hundreds short!!! You OTOH can barely write anything as opposition. I applaud JAB for burying your group and I'm not against him but FOR him. He's still the MASTER. I do bulk parodies for fun and my serial parodies are for numbers. My stats at this site remain formidible. So run along. You understand nothing about me. Hint-Key weapons of any type of warfare: deception, manipulation, and division. My objectives are still met. You cannot harm me at all nor influence me at all. Epic fail on your part pal. Btw, a Double-L in the US stands for two-time Loser. Appropriate S/N YOU chose!!!

Wow! Talk about 'sticks and stones'! I find these acrimonious exchanges as distasteful as I'm sure everyone else does, but they're inevitable as long as you continue to blitz the site with 'what you know', with no regard for for what your audience here may or may not want to know. What an engaging dinner guest you must be! It's up to me to reluctantly defend myself, I suppose.

'Stick to your own parodies' - simple solution: close down your vote/comment box.
'Troll commentator' - anyone who criticizes Robert D Arndt Jr
'Your 1-bombing' - false accusation; 'Your author page is not all 5s' - what a giveaway! Why are votes so important to you?; 'Your buddies', 'your group' - huh? Conspiracy theory paranoia creeping in?
'Military knowledge compared to mine is nothing' - who's disputing that? It's exactly what the problem is, your one-dimensional, excessive approach. It's kinda sad you will never know what it's like to escape your uniform and embrace the wide world outside the military.
'Strange you condemn me but not (JAB)' - I wrote a six-para complaint about him this very day. I was disgusted. (Paras - remember those?).
'Run along' - where to? This is my site as much as yours or anybody else's, 'our' site in fact.

'You understand nothing about me' - on the contrary, the way you respond to criticism tells me a great deal about you, and so do your obsessions: weapon specs, mil history, combat deployments and arenas, casualties as mere body counts and stats, yet you never really speak of war, of its causes and consequences, its sociology and philosophical implications for humanity as a real historian does.

Write 10,000 parodies if it makes you happy. No one's stopping you. 'You cannot harm or influence me.' - Just keep putting your fingers in your ears and going 'la la la' like a good creationist. And keep those votes coming in, fanbase.

Aren't sockpuppets amusing? Speaks and acts like Meriadoc down to the reminder of paras (too dumb to write < BR > which doesn't belong in a comment box but a NG or forum) and mention of HER atheism. As for living life, hell , I live in the US and am almost 50 yrs old having a lifetime of fast cars and bikes, great sexual adventures with a kink here and there, fine dining, dancing, Mile High member, camper, hiker, long-distance runner, and charity-giver to over 32 causes worldwide. Solid voter and taxpayer. Became disabled, however, and have also endured a lot of pain in the last 2 decades. I came here to create parodies as a simple hobby and now it comes down to the same old NG and forum in-fighting I tried to get away from. JAB and I like production and numbers... so what? Get over it and your own petty issues. No doubt you ARE a 1-bomber and if Chuck could X-Trace it would lock your IP and OS to prove it along with your crowd of self-proclaimed pacing police and disgruntled vets. Just thank God (pun fully intended) that you are protected on a moderated site. If you were on an unmoderated NG or forum you would be eaten by wolves. The toughest sheep is nothing compared to the weakest wolf. Btw, I HAVE done as I've pleased here and nothing you do nor the X-factor of lamenters can stop me from production in parodies AND submissions which now total 2052 + 4111= 6153. I am STILL unique here as only Top 10 Parodist and Top 10 Contributor simultaneously (#s 4 and 6 respectively). Top Fragment holder and Top 7 of 10 categories for submissions. And far from worn-out songs I am the only one that can easily tackle massacres, natural disasters, and other disturbing topics the others won't touch. Contrary to your strong _opinions_ some of the older vets as well as newcomers have commented in the past of my intelligence and how much they liked my work. So I continue on at a slower pace. Since I am a lifeliver too (like everyone else) I have my ups and downs each day and just write what I feel. But at least I do write everyday here for the last 27 mos straight. No one here is like me. Feel free to keep writing more in comment boxes than parodies LL and may God (YHWH) bless you ;-)

I have to agree with LL, Rob. Being prolific isn't everything. At least JohnB shows style and clever wordplay.
And numbers are nice, but they're easy when you don't put an effort into them. It'd be nice to see you do more with rhythm and pacing, but I get the sense that you'd rather not try that route. You'd rather go for the numbers.
Which is fine. Have at it and enjoy the faithful that follow you. But I think we both know you can do better if you put more thought into your work.
And before you get overtly prolific with another long diatribe, I'm not a one bomber. I'm a contributor. I like to read interesting things and write about interesting things. Sadly, your work is based on one note. Though you 'dare' to write about tragedy, war, etc., the words seem lifeless and uninspired.
I think we'd all like to see you pay attention to pacing and variety instead of being defensive and crowing about numbers, submissions, and how we should thank God we're on a moderated site (Really? Thank God?).
Take this as a criticism and not an attack on you personally. I'm very glad you've lived a interesting life. I'm very glad you have an encyclopedic knowledge of war and such. And though I may disagree with some of your opinions, it doesn't entitle me to be mean spirited with a retort.
You have a choice to do better, and it seems you've chosen to do no better than when you first started posting on AIR.

Warren, I have no problem with you and many other vets. I have written a vast amount of parodies on a wide range of topics and YES many of them are humorous. But like the critics, you also have not read all 2152 of my parodies, so how can one make such assertions? I have been having a bad time in life with physical problems and so I have been using serial parodies of limited OS to boost their numbers- and that is my choice just as JAB has his serials too and blocks of the old SJH IPASOY OS. He posted 100 parodies recently which displaces one of my records, but I can easily write 101+. But that is his thing, not mine. I have 3 for Monday and maybe a few more. I am rounding up numbers. What annoys me most about your constructive criticism is several facts: 1) my critics think parodies only have to be funny when in fact the majority are based on current events, politics, sports, sometimes religion, massacres, plane crashes, natural disasters, etc... which are largely witty and.or sarcastic. I am good at that and even writing morbid parodies, masked sexuality (like JAB and AFW to name just 2 high vets) as well as themes like Zombies, Superheroes, and retreads of oldies like the Beatles, Sinatra, Nat King Cole, or dated genres over many time periods as well as the new artists that the old vets ignore. If one is going to be a critic, then please make sure you are current with Gaga, Ke$ha, Beyonce, Rihanna, Madonna, Kylie, Katy Perry, CR Jepsen, Lily Allen, Bruno Mars, Demi Lovato, Bieber, Gomez, Minaj, and all the others. I have done them as well as celebs that have sang on occasion like Kardashian, Lindsay Wagner, other actors, as well as Pusssy Riot from Russia, a huge amount of KPOP work other than Psy, and some other foreign stars. I am very diversified so the complaints are on this years serials and not my overall 27 mo record and artist page that disputes the critic's accusations. i also have my own unique style and use everything from commercial jingles, to hymns, poetry, and unusual materials that no one else covers. To infer that I am not in your class is wrong as I have done your genres and artists but you have not done the modern, the controversial, the trending types, and unreleased songs. For Gaga, I am leader and have done most of her regular songs, most of her unreleased songs, and her duets with other artists. I had a solid wall of 4-5s for over 2 years and then this bombing campaign started. It is sad b/c it is NOT random. Think and read before making judgments is all I ask. Peace Warren (love your work) :)

Rob, I think you missed my point. Even if you are limited to a particular OS, you either ignore the rhythm of the lyric or you don't make the effort to revise. I'm sorry to hear about your physical issues. I get the impression it may be physically painful for you to write, but it seems to me if you can take the time to write your preambles and your long responses, you should certainly be able to take the time to refine your parodies. At least that's what I see, but I am not in your circumstance.
And I never inferred you were in any class at all. I never implied anything about your use of new or old artists. And I certainly don't want you to be me (there's only one, and the world is safer for it).
You're prolific and smart, but you could do much more if you took the time to listen to the songs you are parodying and make an effort to use its rhythms and make better pacing choices. You can do better than what you're showing on this site.
