The Lyrics

Vector car engineer had plans for an aerospace car beyond the W-2 and W-8 when forced from his company which he later bought back. An interim design is missing from his Vector Aeromotors history which he designed privately. He envsioned a carbon fiber and GRP aerodynamic shelled stealth sports car using a 12 liter all-aluminum 12 cylinder engine of over 2,000 HP with 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and top speed of 300 mph. It was said that it couldn't be done. His response? The designation FAW-Q (Future Aero Wiegert- Quantum). You won't find it on Wiki or any issue of Motor Trend nor any comments from Top Gear. He reported it once in a Japanese aerospace mag as he was questioned about emergining stealth technology in relation to materials ad he was briefly involved in military aerospace as consultant. The FAW-Q would use CRC, GRP, titanium, vanadium, and other RAM materials.
Car, the FAW-Q
W-Series inproved
Were the rumors true?
Super science, the FAW-Q
Whoa, future cool!

Car, the FAW-Q
V-12 aluminum to zoom
Interlinked breaking too
Central seat position, nice view
Whoa, what it "might" do!

Steps above
Tech so new
Italian snub*
Long overdue!

Car, the FAW-Q
Wiegert's dream come true
Mock-up built
Kept out of view
Where any of the rumors true?

Car, the FAW-Q
On hold, no new news
Wiegert- can we excuse?
Prototype long overdue
If scrapped, we're screwed
Loved the W-8 and W-2
In "Red Sun" got a glimpse of new

A chance to overtake Italians and Brits too **
* Vector tried to float idea of Italian engines but most engineers wanted American muscle
** British Jaguar XJ-220 which was fastest hand built for a time at 224 mph. Vector claims for W-2 and W-8 were 230 mph and 275 mph, although Top Gear was forbidden to attempt max speed claims. FAW-Q would be 300 mph or more projected. I hope someday it gets built.

FAW-Q: now there's an acronym you have to pronounce very carefully...

The final version as produced probably would have been with Vector Q-1 or Aerion 1. However, it would have been badass to have a rear badge that read FAW-Q and the Police or Highway Patrol couldn't do sh-t about it. The side V12 engine badge would have been cool too or a badge claiming 2000 HP!!! I think this was envisioned with ceramic brakes too and chemically treated tires for 300 mph!
