I'd say the reverse is true of Tebow, Max. He's a failure at the pro level BECAUSE of his athletic ability. He had the worst throwing motion I've ever seen for a starting NFL quarterback. He throws the football like a right fielder throwing a baseball ........ So why didn't his college coaches correct this obviously flawed motion? Because Tebow's other gifts made it unnecessary. Florida basically had Larry Csonka running the spread option ..... who could also throw a deep ball as well as anybody. And they won the national championship with Tebow in '08 and lost only to 14-0 Alabama in '09 in the SEC title game -- so why would you change anything about Tebow?
