The Lyrics

Why don't any of you believe me?
All of these decades of teaching stuff
You ingrates somehow remain so dubious
Dubious, dubious
All that I've said seems
To have not impressed you much, dubious
Dubious, criticise
Sceptic's eyes on me
All my words are somehow bunk, dubious

Not outright yelling "Lies!", you're dithering
Hindering
Think I'm dumb

Dubious, dubious
It's the truth, trust me
"Believe me"'s not asking much, dubious

Ev'ry lesson is a farce
Wasting both my and your time, dubious
Dubious, getting mad
Furrowed brow, wond'ring
Which prat set the schedule up, dubious
Mmm-mmm-mmm
Pond'ring
'Fore me's theory critical, you're dubious
Dubious, dubious

At least they're applying what they were taught, though.

alexander's ragtag band - April 11, 2019 - Report this comment
I heard a man say his daughter said what she was taught is school was worthless, but she could lean it easily and please the teachers. His son said what he was taught in school was worthless and he wasn't going to bother learning it. Some people know more than others. Some people do more than others.
