The Lyrics

Hearing the OS the other day triggered a memory of this parody that I almost finished years before, but never quite did
I oughta known better with a Stooge like you
That I would love every punch that you threw
And I do, Whoop, whoop whoop, and I do

Nyuck, nyuck I .. should realized what a fist could mean
If I hit it you'd be clunking me
Soitenly, Soitenly

That when I tell you that I love you
You're gonna say "I'll moider you"
And when I ask you to be kind .. yi, yi yi
You're gonna slap me and Lar, too

So, I should have realized a lot of things before
If this is love you gotta give me Moe
Give me Moe .. Nyuck Nyuck, Nyuck .. give me Moe

Whoop whoop I .. never realized what a V could mean
That it meant you're gonna eyepunch me
I cant see .. I cant see

That when I tell you that I love you (Ow)
You're gonna call me chowderhead
And when I ask you to be kind .. yi, yi, yi
You're gonna clunk me on the head

Some dark humour here, mefears based on real experience?

Im guessing Three Stooges weren't a thing where you were raised, Peter. All the references here are to slapstick gags that were performed in Three Stooges mini- movies. The singer here is Curly Howard, frequent target of Moe Howard's slapstick wrath

OTOH, "Brohemian Rhapsody" along with new and improved "Brohemian Rhapsody, 2.Bro" (which may be my all time best) is motivated by an actual incident with an older sibling

CML, what I loved most about this was the "gimme Moe". It seems to me that was probably the initial seed that grew this parody into your mind. I love when that happens--a certain isolated line or pronunciation in the OS that starts a really successful parody. Which this was, btw.

You are correct, Suh. That's exactly what happened. I mean, it was right there. And immediately the line "with a Stooge like you" was there ... And once you have some great line, it stirs other creative juices, because you know you got something
