The Lyrics

Another addition to Darius Whitehead's "A Day at I-Hop" theme
I'd like to feed; with fat Rosie
Ar your local Olive Garden in the shade
They'd squeeze us in; note double chins
At your local Olive Garden in the shade
I'd ask my friends to come and feed
At an Olive Garden soiree
I'd like to to feed; in style frenzied
In a local Olive garden, they're dismayed

Breadsticks are warm; served by the swarm
With that five-cheese dipping sauce, the one we crave
Make it our goal; max Pasta Bowl*
At the local Olive garden, we're depraved
We would drink and act like juves
Because we know; we cant be moved
I'd like to spree; on gluttony
At the local Olive Garden like a knave

We would shout; and ask about
The zitti with the cheese sauce that is baked
Oh what joy; for gaining girls and boys
Knowing there's gelato after cake
We would feed so rav'nous; Rose and me
No one there to say what not to chew
I'd like to be; in food orgy
At a local Olive Garden with you
At a local Olive garden with you
*An all-you-can-eat Pasta Bowl

Hehe, I wrote an Olive Garden "commercial" a while ago. (scroll down to track 5) http://www.amiright.com/parody/80s/theresidents0.shtml , OS is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PP1tVGaPMCc ). This was fun (even the forced mispronunciation of "soiree". ! :))

I worked at an Olive Garden once. They treated us like dirt. They did everything imaginable to force me to quit, so they wouldn't have to pay me unemployment compensation. I took it all, until finally they gave up and fired me. The next day, I went to the beach. I hadn't felt that relaxed in years. It's been 24 years, and I have never eaten at an Olive Garden again. But this is fine.

You'll be pleased to know I have NOT picked up the slack for you, Mike. I've eaten there once in my lifetime on the occassion of my nephew's graduation from high school .. and it wasn't my choice .... And to Ag, I cant decipher your link

It just occurred to me, Mike. My first girlfriend worked at Olive Garden and they also treated her like dirt. On a positive note, she was a very earthy kind of woman so she dug it. (Old George Carlin joke)

According to Jay Leno, don't go there if it's Italian food you want.
