The Lyrics

Now, let's meet the teams of the United States Football League!
(Intro)
USFL Teams...
And we would march onto the field one Saturday to gather there.
From the Oakland Invaders to the Memphis Showboats, we would step in duty to fight onto the field, and we love it.

(song begins)

I was born at mother's birth, in the year of '83
I looked up at what I saw, they were USFL teams

First, I saw Memphis Showboats with the defense of Reggie Green
Got invaded by Oakland, another USFL team

(chorus)
We are all of the USFL teams, USFL teams, USFL teams,
We are all of the USFL teams, USFL teams, USFL teams

Getting cold with Denver Gold, Stole like Bandits of Tampa Bay
Running with Jacksonville Bulls, broke like Boston along the way

(repeat chorus)

Took a gamble in Houston
Won like Generals in New Jersey
When the band began to play...(marching band music)

(repeat chorus)

We are Stars in Baltimore,
We are Stallions in Birmingham
Our Federals of Washington
beat the Panthers of Michigan

(repeat chorus 2x)

Thanks for bringing back memories of the Tampa Bay Bandits. Those were some fun filled games. BTW: Bert Reynolds and Steve Spurrier were co-owners of the Bandits.
