The Lyrics

I really wanted to save Lechery for last, but I guess I had to get it out of the way before I could concentrate on Avarice and Sloth...I sure hope it's not too lecherous...
Lechery
Find a willing man and fetch him, please
Making sure that he's free from disease
So I won't rue my lechery

Suddenly
It feels like my clothes are trapping me
Is it hot in here or is it me?
Would you indulge my lechery?

Sweep me off my feet
I'm in heat
Now have your way
Make a pass at me
It could be
Your lucky day

Lechery
People act as though it's treachery!
Attitudes like that bewilder me
For lechery is fun for me

Want you on the floor
Like a whore
Come on and play
Don't tell me it's wrong
Been so long
Since I've been laid

Lechery
I see naughty bits in front of me!
Let me show you why I'm telling thee
That lechery is fun for me

(Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm!)
PSA: Play safe, kids!

Excellent! 5's. You know what struck me as I started to read this? I had never heard the term "lech" or "lechery" applied to a woman before! Hmmm...so if a male Lech is a "Lecher" is the female Lech a "Lechess"?

So basically you're saying that my entire lifestyle is generally frowned upon? Dammit! 5s...

Would a professor behaving that way be an intellechual?

Paul - I think that was covered many years ago by one of the civil rights acts - or are they still trying to pass the Equal Ruts Amendment? (I think I want extra points for that one...) Guy - thanks again! Arwen - Let 'em frown, it just means that you're having more fun than they are! Phil - I hear that professor is starting an organization of his own - The Lecher League (oh, that was bad...sorry...)

You are on a roll today! I think I liked this topic a little better than the one about raging, but they are both 5's in my book.

I think that intellechual was psycho-logist Doctor Hannibal Lecher.

"Is it hot in here or is it me?" was a brilliant line.

Sex songs aren't usually my thing, though I'm glad to see a well-written one that keeps the language down to a PG-13. (I started with the gluttony song BTW, then wondered how you had planned to make all the sins fit three syllables--darn good work, enough for triple 5's.)
