The Lyrics

Gordon Gecko was the lead character in the movie "Wall Street" and uttered that immortal line "Greed is good". And, as is usual in my parodies, "corporate" is two syllables.
Avarice
I'm so tight I cannot give a piss
How much money will I make for this?
I glory in my avarice

I don't care
If the middle class thinks it's not fair
Only Commies think that I should share
And if you're homeless, I don't care

Corporate welfare rocks!
Brought my stocks to where they are
Where's my tax cut, George?
I must gorge on caviar

It's all mine
All the companies and yachts and wine
I'll send "W" a valentine
He'll help ensure it stays all mine

To care I'll pretend
While I send your jobs away
All my worship stirred
When I heard Gord Gecko say

"Greed is good"
Oh, to have so much more than I should!
I'd be even richer if I could
For I believe that greed is good
Paid for by Billionaires for Bush

The political digs in this one might be well-deserved, but they break away from the "this could be anyone" feeling in the other parodies you've done for this cycle. Still, you did a pretty decent job...5-4-5 from me!

555.
When I gave food to the poor, they called me a saint.
When I asked why the poor have no food, they called me a communist.

Thanks again, everybody! Johnny: um, was that Dorothy Day? Ingeborg: yes, this was topical where the others weren't. Unlike the fun sins, like lechery, sloth and gluttony, avarice isn't something I relate to...too needy to be greedy, I guess! :)
