Parody Song Title:

"Yellow Eminems"

Parody Written by:

Fitu Petaia

The Lyrics

As we count how many there
There are yellow between red
There's a yellow and red eminem
Will eat them at once and for all
As we count them one by one
There are also brown and also blue

Lets eat the yellow eminems
yellow eminems, yellow eminems
Lets eat the yellow eminems
yellow eminems, yellow eminems

All the Eminems have disappered
One of them was thrown away
And we count the big size ones
And you think there is 20,000 of them
One of them at my eminems
All the Eminems just match the same

Lets eat the yellow eminems
yellow eminems, yellow eminems
Lets eat the yellow eminems
yellow eminems, yellow eminems
Lets eat the yellow eminems
yellow eminems, yellow eminems
Lets eat the yellow eminems
yellow eminems, yellow eminems

Well Fitu, since I gave you a pretty good-sized piece of my mind a minute ago I thought I owed it to you to look at something you've done. I'm not voting, but I will give you an honest critique, because you really need that a whole lot more than a "charity" vote. OK, here goes - Honest and objective - This was a real cute idea and it's kind of fun. Some of the verse lines are paced pretty well, but the chorus lines are not. In the Original song the Beatles have "We all live in a yellow submarine" 10 syllables...Your line: "Lets eat the yellow eminems - I count 8 syllables. So you see, that's a problem that is going to affect your scores. There's no way anyone can honestly rate pacing as '5" here. And scoring problems generally start with bad pacing, because they make it harder to match up your piece with the OS...you cannot sing it the same way if the pacing is off by very much. And here's where you need to spend more time and effort because the problem here is not insurmountable. Here, let's try this. I'm taking your line...your words here, but I''m going to work at making them match the pacing better. Here: "Let's eat all of the yellow eminems" Count the syllables - you will find that there are 10 now. Same as the OS. Try to sing the line. - let's break the line down first... "Let's eat all of..." to "We all live in..." The first part is perfect now. OK - 2nd part of the line..."...the yellow eminems" to "...a yellow submarine" Perfect, same syllable count, same accent and emphasis. Now you have a very good line to build upon, because when your 1st line of a section works well it's easier to make the ones below it flow well, too. Anyway, Fitu, that what you are going to need to do if you really want to get better scores. Compare what you have written to the actual sound of the original song. When they don't match you need to focus and try different ways to say what you want. Work at it and you will improve. Good luck.

I've never seen anyone spell the candy's name just like that of the singer. Anyway, I think this deserves a straight 1-1-1 it's so tasteless.

Well, Mr. Slip, they'd probably spell the candy's name like this when referring to the singer...but did you mean "when referring to the candy" or something like that?

Schadenfreudian Slip , I believe Mr Fitu rewrote this song.

I just saw it, I wonder if Mr. Slip subliminally told him to.
