When Barack Obama started responding to some criticism about the content (or alleged lack thereof) of his speeches, he responded by quoting the Declaration, the "Dream" speech of Dr. King, and a few other things, and called it "just words", with sarcasm directed at his critics. As it turns out, Mass. governor Deval Patrick had made most of the same quotes, with the same phrase "just words". This minor kerfluffle caused me to remember another set of "Words".

Not a bad parody, but if you want words, here they are: McCain's in bed with a lobbyist! And if it's only figuratively, that's bad enough! Time to change Washington!

I agree that this is a "minor kerfluffle," but it is ironic that Senator Obama chooses to rely on plagiarism when making the point about the importance of words.
