A good friend of mine had his Jetta stolen back in college in Atlanta. The cops found it two days later. The only thing the thieves did was waste about a quarter tank of gas and change the tape that was in the cassette player. At that time, Volkswagons were at the top of the list for stolen vehicles. Not because they were in high demand, but because they were so easy to steal.

thanks mckludge...i had my truck stolen once...got it back about 3 weeks later....they took everything inside except for some ugly green sunglasses i had....only damage was the ignition though...coulda been worse
